According to teasers for Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) predicament will worsen before it gets better! At the moment, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) is unaware of Ava’s true opponents, but in the upcoming weeks, that may change.
Fans of DOOL are aware that Gil Carter (David S. Lee) attempted to assault Ava and perished as a result. Tripp may be watching Ava more closely going forward after learning of the updates, which shocked and infuriated him.
Of course, Tripp could grow suspicious of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) now that he’s sliding into Gil’s old spot. Clyde Weston (James Read) is in charge here, but Tripp might eventually find a way to turn the tables.
Days viewers know Tripp has a sinister side that’s been dormant for a while now. It’d be easy for Days writers to awaken that side again and perhaps have Tripp go after Clyde’s Achilles heel.

Tripp might pursue someone Clyde cares about out of desperation and rage in an attempt to obtain the upper hand. Given that Clyde still harbors a perverse affection for his son, is Robert Scott Wilson’s character Ben Weston in danger?
Although Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) is expecting her second child and already has one child with Ben, Tripp poses a threat to their family in the event that he abducts Ben or makes threats against him.
There’s no reason Robert Scott Wilson couldn’t appear as Ben as well, considering that he is still frequently featured as Alex Kiriakis.
If things head south in this partnership with Ava, Tripp might even feel like he has to do something to spare Ava’s life and put him in the driver’s seat over Clyde.
In other words, this Days storyline may become about more than Ava saving Tripp from an attack; this could also become about Tripp saving Ava once he finally knows the truth.
Sadly, there’s always a chance that a scheme such as this could backfire and incite Clyde even more. Tripp might actually unleash Clyde’s anger and win a fleeting victory if he dares to meddle with Ben.
