Let’s face it, the new Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season won’t feature many shocks. Having said that, Kyle Richards will finally be the focus of her own tale without a sister’s help.
Kyle most likely thought she was going insane when Kathy Hilton dropped out of Season 13’s filming. Especially in light of Lisa Rinna’s timely departure, she anticipated being in the spotlight. Kyle is set to go on a “journey” with Mauricio Umansky, the love of her life, but to some fans at least, it all seems to be staged for ratings. Details were revealed in Life & Style.
The Alex Baskin of it all
Here’s where we want to keep in mind that both RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules are produced by Evolution Media and Alex Baskin is an executive producer on both shows. He had the best moment of his life when Tom Sandoval went rogue, so why shouldn’t a good EP want the same for both of his programs?
Enter Kyle, who causes the “breakdown” of Mauricio and I’s nearly 30-year marriage. Because Kyle is many things, but she is also no fool, the lack of a sister brings with it the realization that something significant must happen. And the jaw-dropping twist is that Kyle is currently investigating her lesbian tendencies. Allegedly. with a young singer who is severely inked. Everything seems so fictitious. Remember, did we learn of Mo and Kyle’s problems before Sister Kathy made her decision to leave?
Now sources close to RHOBH are saying Kyle and Mauricio are “faking it” to save her diamond. An insider shared, “If you know Kyle, you know that she just wanted a juicy storyline to save her spot on the Bravo series. She knows what she’s doing.” In the interest of full disclosure, I was fully on board at first. And then Kyle is being papped with Morgan Wade and acting conspicuously coy.
Here’s what, if it is fake, it’s totally working. The Season 13 trailer was filled with Kyle content while poor Dorit Kemsley had about three seconds of giving us nothing. Dorit might have to pull a stunt and marry Boy George if she doesn’t become interesting very soon.

Mauricio and Kyle have both been feeding the media. On sometimes, Mauricio gives the impression that he is unsure of his exact situation. However, the pair also took part in numerous family gatherings including a summertime family vacation to Europe. Fans are already giving Kyle the side-eye, despite the fact that the RHOBH cast is prepared to stand by her and support her through these tough times. Remain tuned.
