After avoiding elimination on Tuesday night’s Dancing With the Stars, Mauricio Umansky celebrated with a dinner date with his parents and actress Leslie Rae Bega, which sparked whispers of a possible romance between them.
Leslie, 56, works at Mauricio’s real estate company, The Agency. A few days before his divorced wife Kyle Richards, 54, made headlines for her “cozy” road trip with her rumored flame, country singer Morgan Wade, 28, Mauricio, 53, spent time with Leslie and talked about the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I don’t know about the new season,” Mauricio told E! News on October 5. “I may [watch], I’m not saying I’m not. Everything will happen or not happen, it is what it is.”
While the trailer had been released just hours before the interview, Mauricio hadn’t yet watched.
“I don’t want to watch it because the reality is Kyle and I know where we stand today,” he explained. “We know where we are and it’s been super dramatized and I know that. It has to be in order to be entertaining and capture people’s attention for television.”
Mauricio also doesn’t want to relive things that he and Kyle have already worked past.
“I don’t want to watch it because it’s just going to put me in a place I don’t want to be and I don’t want to see an over dramatization of my own life,” he noted.
Mauricio, who has three children with Kyle—Alexia Umansky, 27, Sophia Umansky, 23, and Portia Umansky, 15—says that the two of them had difficult moments when season 13 was being produced.
In actuality, he said, “it was kind of the beginning of us going through a difficult time while we were filming it.” “There wasn’t much of it out there, and we weren’t prepared to tell the kids or ourselves, or to have all of this, right?”
Mauricio went on to say that when it came to PEOPLE’s July report about his and Kyle’s separation, “somebody spilled the beans.”
“We don’t know who,” he added.
As for his relationship with Leslie, who’s known for her past roles on The Sopranos and Head of the Class, she cheered him on in the DWTS ballroom on Tuesday.
“Supporting Mauricio on Latin night!” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram video. “AND…How fantastic to see Alfonso again after all these years since we did ‘Circus of the [Stars]’ together back when we were child stars growing up!”
Then, during supper with his parents, Leslie—a realtor at The Agency as well—was spotted sitting next to him and putting her arm around his neck.

Many people commented when the photo was shared, asking whether there was a romantic relationship between the two of them.
“So this is his girlfriend and Kyle has hers. Ok … ” one person wrote.
Then, another signaled to their kids.
“How sad their poor kids,” they wrote.
“So Kyle and Mo have officially come out with their new loves?” another wondered.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 premieres on Wednesday, October 25, at 8/7c on Bravo.
