NCIS Tori Anderson, the star of Hawaii, changed dramatically for her cameo. NCIS Tori Anderson, a Hawaii-born actress best known for playing Kate Whistler, made her acting debut in Smallville, despite having a completely different appearance. In the CBS drama, Whistler first served as a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) officer before transitioning to the FBI to serve as an NCIS-FBI liaison.

She is also one half of the police procedural’s popular couple with Agent Lucy Tara (Yasmine Al-Bustami), who have had their ups and downs but have since grown closer.

Whistler and Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey), who were being attacked in Venezuela at the end of the season finale, were miraculously saved by Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J).
Pictures of actress Anderson’s time in Smallville have resurfaced as fans eagerly await the third season. In 2003, Anderson made her acting debut in an episode of The Twilight Zone.

The 34-year-old went on to appear in Tru Calling before starring in an episode of the action fiction series Smallville. She was in the fourth episode of season three entitled Truth, as a character called Rebecca. Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) had just discovered she had the ability to get anyone to tell her the truth and so started asking embarrassing secrets of her fellow students.

Among those who were part of Chloe’s experiment was Rebecca as they passed one another in the hallway. Chloe asked Rebecca how she was able to get an A on her geometry test when everyone else only received a C. Rebecca then admitted she stole the answer key the day before the test and realising what she had said, Rebecca begged Chloe to keep her secret.

Anderson’s appearance as Rebecca is quite different from Whistler’s; instead of wearing dresses and blouses, she wears trousers and a turtleneck sweater. Rebecca appears much more serious than Whistler does in NCIS Hawaii and also sports a pair of square eyeglasses. Sadly, it will be a while before the island state drama returns for another season.
The program was scheduled to premiere last month after being renewed for a third season early this year. The show won’t return with fresh episodes until spring 2024, though, as the writers’ and performers’ strikes are still in effect.
