According to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will continue to suppress his love for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) in order to focus on Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Although Xander clearly has feelings for Chloe, it’s clear that he’s using her to get over Sarah – or at least tries!
Sarah is Xander’s true love, and a love story with Chloe will not change that. No matter how hard Xander tries to move on, a part of him will always be pulled to Sarah and the possibility of them becoming a family.
Of course, Days fans know that family could still happen if Sarah would just tell the truth! Sarah is trying to pass off her new baby as Rex Brady’s (Kyle Lowder), but little Victoria Horton actually belongs to Xander.
Could Chloe become privy to that information soon?
It makes sense to put the secret in Chloe’s hands since it’s the one thing that could make her potentially call off this marriage. Two couples will focus on their wedding plans in DOOL’s September 22 episode, so Xander and Chloe might be one of those couples since they’re engaged along with Sarah and Rex.
However, Chloe will be in a difficult situ ation throughout the week of September 25-29. Days spoilers indicate that Chloe will have to make a major decision, thus she may discover Victoria’s true paternity and have to decide what to do about it. It’s easy to envision Rex saying something he shouldn’t, or Chloe overhearing him telling Sarah about Xander being the father of this child.
Days spoilers suggest Rex, Sarah or both might end up trying to convince Chloe to keep her mouth shut.
As a result, part of Chloe might be tempted to just let Sarah raise Victoria with Rex like they’re planning to. Another part of Chloe knows how much Xander would like to be a father one day – not to mention this could lead to Xander reuniting with the woman he truly wants. Chloe might sacrifice her own happiness for Xander’s sake and do the right thing.
If it comes down to the wire, Chloe might even stop the wedding and confess at the altar. Regardless, Chloe will indeed have to make a significant choice that affects her future, so stick with us for updates on whether Xander will get the true paternity news from her.
