Just days after his ex-wife Christine wed David Woolley, SISTER Wives patriarch Kody Brown shut down the family business. On Saturday, October 7, Christine, 51, wed David, 59, in a charming Utah wedding despite her strained relationship with her former, Kody, 54. On October 8, 2023, Kody filed paperwork to dissolve Kody Brown Family Entertainment, LLC, the family business.

Annual reports had been filed yearly from 2019 up until January 2023.
Kody, Meri, 52, Janelle, 54, Christine and Robyn, 45, were all listed as managers of the business. Despite the business being dissolved in Nevada, the company license is still active in Arizona, where he currently lives. Kody also runs Dabsark Entertainment, LLC, with his only wife left, Robyn, as the company stands for their and their five children’s initials. After Christine split from Kody, she started Just Christine, LLC on February 10, 2022, Utah business records reveal.

She also launched Plexus With Christine, LLC on May 17, 2022.The dissolved family business comes after Christine married David at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah on Saturday after getting engaged in April. Christine’s intimate ceremony included 300 guests who enjoyed the stunning views.

An insider previously told The U.S. Sun that the outdoor wedding was an all-day affair with set up beginning in the early hours of the morning and guests arriving in the afternoon. The wedding was filmed by TLC cameras, a source previously confirmed to The U.S. Sun, for Sister Wives or a potential spinoff show.

Christine told People: “It’s a fairytale. It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.” According to People, Christine’s son Paedon, and her father, Rex, escorted her down the aisle.

Christine has six children with Kody: Aspyn, 28; Mykelti, 27; Paedon, 25; Gwendlyn, 21; Ysabel, 20; and Truely, 13.

David is a father to eight children. Christine’s former spouse and his last-standing wife, Robyn, skipped the nuptials.

Ex-sister wife, Janelle was in attendance, while Meri was snubbed from the special day.

Christine announced her split from Kody in November 2021, as she moved to Utah with their daughter, Truely.

She expressed her unhappiness in the family on Sister Wives, as Kody spent the majority of his time at Robyn’s home because she was the only wife who would follow his strict Covid rules. Christine said on the episode where the wives were picking their parcels of land to build homes on: “The best that I can give today is to just pretend. I don’t want to move onto the property, I want to move back to Utah.

“Why would I want to live on the same property with a dysfunctional marriage where right over there he’s got a fully-functioning marriage? Who would ever want to live like that?”

Christine said on another episode: “I feel like to Kody, Robyn is more important… I agreed to be a sister wife, but I agreed to be an equal wife.”

She told him in a separate scene: “It’s been heartbreaking being your wife for years.”

In the last scene, Kody screamed at Christine with the other wives around him: “You never tried to have a good relationship with these people and that’s the reason I’m pissed off.

“Just a knife in the kidneys after all these years. Sacrifices that I’ve made to love you!” Christine signed over the parcel in her name to Kody and Robyn for $10 on July 28, 2022.

As their marital problems are being shown on the current season of Sister Wives, Kody’s second wife Janelle also deserted him. This season’s episode had Kody accusing her of disobeying his rigorous Covid-19 regulations and not compelling their kids to do the same. Janelle said that the CDC’s recommendations were followed by her family and that her family had not received his list of regulations.

She also refused to expel their sons from her house because they disobeyed the regulations; Kody cited Robyn as the reason he stayed with her both during and after the pandemic. Kody sought an apology after his sons confronted Robyn about not seeing their father, which prevented the family from spending Christmas together.

Janelle continued post-fight: “It feels like Kody and I are no longer going to be a couple. It was that dramatic. There had been so much build-up. The words were very harsh, but the feeling was, we’re done.

“It took me a half hour to overcome the shock of the conversation. I called him and I said: ‘Come get your stuff.’ In my mind, he’s out of the house.

He believes that divorcing his wife would reflect poorly on him. He appears to overlook that person, which fits with his tendency. He doesn’t want the burden of being the spouse who declares, “I don’t want to be married anymore,” so he wants you to say it’s over.

Despite Kody’s efforts to make up with Janelle on the show, she broke up with him in December 2022. After years of only being friends, Meri made her separation from Kody public in January. Kody has been largely residing with Robyn since the outbreak, with whom he is still legally married.
