Fans of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are eagerly awaiting the release of Season 13, which they hope will provide all the answers to their queries regarding Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky. The internet was confused and troubled by the news of their split.

The revelation was so shocking that it sparked speculation that Kyle had cheated with Morgan Wade. These rumors have been consistently disputed by Morgan, Kyle, and Mauricio. Another defender has just entered the fray at this time.

Former RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp has sought to defend her friend Kyle. To do so, she’s explaining the context behind Kyle and Morgan’s much-discussed matching tattoos. Many believe the tattoos are a sign of romance, but Teddi has another explanation.

Teddi claims Kyle’s tattoo was “a funny joke”

Teddi took to her podcast, Two Ts In A Pod, to defend her friend Kyle. “The reason they put a ‘K’ is – the reason Kyle put a ‘K’ – was because then she could add anything else she wanted to it. They thought it would be a funny joke … But then, of course, it now has metamorphosed into so much more.”

As for Morgan, Teddi pointed out that the singer has numerous tattoos, and posited that she didn’t believe Morgan “seems super picky about the tattoos she’s putting on her body.” Teddi added, “If a letter ‘K’ was tattooed onto my body, it might be more of a red flag than somebody that probably has, I don’t know, over 100 tattoos.”

Of course, that’s just speculation. Just because someone has a lot of tattoos doesn’t mean they aren’t particular. In the past, Kyle has pointed out that she and Teddi have matching tattoos as well. She used that piece of evidence to dissuade the public from suggesting that just because she had a matching tattoo with Morgan they were having an affair.

The complete Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 premiere airs Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
