NCIS fans will be able to stream the first 11 seasons on Netflix starting on January 23. This comes after the streaming platform removed some of the earlier seasons
NCIS fans are getting ready to binge some of their favorite episodes of NCIS.
The drama show was recently added to Netflix with the first 11 seasons available on the streaming platform starting January 23. With season 1-5 soon to be available, viewers at home will also be able to watch 12-17, as seasons 6 and 11 are still missing. The show introduced viewers to Mark Harmon, who played Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs for nineteen seasons, as well as Michael Weatherly, who plays Anthony DiNozzo, Pauley Perrette, who plays Abby Sciuto, and David McCallum, who plays Donald Mallard.
When it was reported that the first 11 seasons of the show were going to leave the streaming platform, viewers were left devastated.
One person on Reddit wrote at the time: “I am very angry they took off the first 11 seasons. myself and a lot of friends love to go back and watch the earlier seasons when Ziva was still there.” Another person said: “And now Netflix lost my vote. I stopped watching NCIS after Tony left, and I’ve marathoned those s1-11 several times.” A third said: “i don’t understand why they are removing them I am only on season 8, and don’t want to have to subscribe to another streaming service for one show.” A fourth posted: “I don’t get the idea behind removing seasons and leaving later seasons on. It makes no sense. Except from a financial point of course.”
This comes after NCIS: Sydney announced one devastating change to the season two premiere. The new release date will take place on Friday, February 7, at 8 p.m. EST.
Viewers at home were also recently introduced to a new spinoff of the drama series, NCIS: Origins. Austin Stowell and Kyle Schmid play the young versions of Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Mike Franks on the CBS NCIS spin-off, which airs every Monday at 10 p.m. Mark has made appearances on the series and also acts as an executive producer.
