Kyle Richards, the original Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is back for her 13th season as a diamond holder, but this time she’s going through a big first.
On October 3, a trailer for the forthcoming season was released, highlighting the gossip that has been swirling about Kyle’s engagement to Mauricio Umansky and her connection with country music star Morgan Wade.

Kyle Richards’ Marriage Issues on RHOBH Season 13
Kyle is “a diamond under pressure” this time around, according to the Season 13 official press release, as she is “struggling to cope amid her most challenging year yet.”
“With her 27-year marriage in turmoil and her relationship with her sister in limbo, Kyle reaches her breaking point after the tabloids — and those closest to her — question her budding friendship with a well-known country singer.”
If you need a refresher, Kyle and Mauricio were rumored to have split up in July 2023. On each of their own Instagram accounts, the pair posted a combined statement regarding the issue.
“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue,” their statement began. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”
In the trailer for Season 13, which you can watch at the top of this post, the ladies discuss the rumors.
“Holy sh-t,” Garcelle Beauvais says when she learns about the separation speculation.
“I had no idea,” Dorit Kemsley says while on a FaceTime with her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, who adds, “I had dinner with Mo. He never said they were separated.”
“You think they’re hiding something?” Crystal Kung Minkoff wonders, while Sutton Stracke questions if Kyle has been “lying” about anything.
Kyle herself reacts to the headlines, too.
“Complete strangers are like, ‘You made us believe in true love and now it’s all —” she tells Erika Jayne, who notes, “It is true love. There are only two people in this marriage. Everybody else’s opinion can f-ck off.”
