Sylvester Stallone Reveals Bigger Update On Tulsa King Parts 3 And 4.

Hot on the heels of the explosive Season 2 finale of Tulsa King this past weekend comes some amazing news for fans of the Sylvester Stallone crime drama. A new report reveals that Stallone is currently in the midst of closing a deal that will see the series renewed for at least two more seasons. Stallone serves as an executive producer on the Taylor Sheridan-creation, which became an immediate hit for Paramount+ upon its debut in 2022.

Sources also tell Deadline that the possibility is there that Tulsa King could stretch beyond Season 4, and also branch off to include spinoffs, much like some of Sheridan’s other creations. Because of his efforts, Stallone is poised to get a pay bump going into Season 3, which would be his third increase since the series began. He earned $750,000 per episode for Season 1, and $1.5 million per episode for Season 2. He’s clearly worth it, as the second season of Tulsa King drew huge numbers for the streaming service, garnering an average of 10 million global households, which was an 8% increase over Season 1.

There’s little doubt that Paramount’s marketing strategy going into Tulsa King Season 2 helped increase those numbers as well. Earlier this year, they took what was a streaming-only series and placed it on linear cable TV, airing all nine episodes of the show from July to September on CBS. This brought a ton of new eyeballs to Tulsa King that wouldn’t have otherwise seen it, and encouraged people to sign up for Paramount+ to view Season 2. There’s no word yet on if they’ll employ the same strategy going into Season 3, but at this point they’d be foolish not to.

Sylvester Stallone Says He’s Already “Digging Into” Tulsa King Season 3

Following the finale of Tulsa King Season 2, Stallone took to his Instagram account later in the week to spread the love, thanking the fans for helping to make the show what it’s become (seen above). He talked about the series’ twists and turns, which didn’t see the epic confrontation between Stallone and fellow action star Frank Grillo like we all thought would happen, but instead featured Grillo’s character of Bill Bevilaqua aiding Dwight in getting rid of Chickie (Vincent Piazza) once and for all. Stallone also mentioned that work on Season 3 has already begun.

“Hello everyone. I don’t know about you, but that was a long season. A lot of ups and downs and sideways and all that, and I want to thank the audience for being part of the crime. You got an inside seat on how this crazy world of Tulsa works, and right now we’re digging into the next season.”

It makes us extremely happy to know that Tulsa King isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and that we can expect at least two more seasons of what’s quickly become one of our favorite Stallone projects. Now the question following the Season 2 finale is: who the heck put that bag over his head? We can’t wait to find out.
