Why RHOBH Fans Can’t Stand Dorit & PK Kemsley

On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit and PK Kemsley remain under fire for laughing about Erika’s mistreatment of Garcelle Beauvais’s son.

For a variety of reasons, Dorit and PK Kemsley lost favor on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12. When Dorit and PK’s purported house invasion was revealed at the beginning of the season, questions already existed about it. After PK and Dorit found it amusing that Erika Jayne handled two of Garcelle Beauvais’s boys unfairly in later episodes, there was outrage. The way Dorit and PK were portrayed throughout the season made many want to have them gone. For RHOBH season 13, Dorit is most likely to return.

Dorit has frequently come under fire for being overly wordy and adding very little to the main plot lines of the show. In Season 11, Dorit and Garcelle got into a small argument that continued until the reunion. While their relationship stayed friendly for the majority of season 12, subsequent episodes revealed that Dorit had an odd manner of expressing her admiration for Garcelle. Dorit didn’t say anything as she observed Erika make advances toward Garcelle’s oldest son and slur at her 14-year-old kid. Dorit was captured on camera after the encounters laughing about the circumstance with Kyle Richards and their spouses.

Dorit & PK Have Been Under Fire Since RHOBH’s Season 7 “Panty Gate”

Both couples have been under fire since the episode aired for making it clear that they got a kick from Erika for misbehaving at Garcelle’s birthday party. On Twitter, Queens of Bravo posted a still photo from the episode, highlighting Dorit’s facial expression when Erika brought up PK’s old “panty gate” scandal from season 7. “Dorit was positively fuming when Erika brought up PK & Pantygate again,” the page wrote, adding, “She wasn’t ready to talk about the husband.” During the scandal, PK faced criticism for looking up Erika’s dress on a day when she wore no undergarments.

After Erika referenced the scandal in season 12, it became clear Dorit was a hypocrite for not wanting to talk about her husband but sitting idly by while Garcelle’s two sons had to deal with Erika’s drunken antics. It’s one of the many blowbacks the Kemsleys face as a couple, as there are continued questions regarding their home invasion. With Dorit constantly facing criticism for her boring storylines and contributions, there is growing speculation that she might have staged the attack for entertainment.

In the end, PK’s quip about Erika having a “blowout” with Oliver and Jax of Garcelle sparked questions. PK believed Erika was deserving of the “blowout” after flirting with Oliver, who is married, and cursing at one of Garcelle’s twin sons. As one of the show’s most naughty husbands, PK’s brand appears to be reflected by the icy and unsettling comment. On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the Kemsleys’ incessant joking and rude comments have grown tiresome. It’s unlikely that there will be any backlash if Dorit gets relegated in the upcoming season.
