Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will be open and honest about their feelings for one another, according to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, October 16. Harris and Ava will try their best to deal with this new phase of their relationship now that they’ve kissed.
Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will have an unsettling meeting with a difficult patient (James Simenc) at the hospital. It turns out that this man will abruptly slash him with a knife, but Tripp will take charge and prevent major injury. Tripp will question Ava about her friendship with Harris once more after he gets bandaged up and returns home later.
Ava will be more interested in how Tripp got hurt and will grow concerned once she hears the story behind his arm injury. Meanwhile, it looks like Clyde Weston (James Read) will be revealed as the person who delivered Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to Edmund Crumb (Adam Caine).
Days just hinted at it by having EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) rant about the mystery kidnapper while an inmate read Susan’s survival story online. DOOL fans couldn’t see that inmate’s face, but it was obviously Clyde since he’s set to return in Monday’s episode. It turns out Tripp’s wild patient was acting on Clyde’s orders, so Clyde will call Ava up and reveal that to her.
Ava will be alarmed by Clyde’s threat and decide to go to Statesville to find out what he wants. Days teasers indicate that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will soften her tone with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) as Clyde plans his next move. Sarah’s opinion of Xander has obviously changed somewhat as a result of Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) survival in the episode.
When Sarah discovers that Xander wants to pursue full custody of Victoria Horton, she’ll resume her angry outbursts. As Xander and Sarah get ready for court, that information will spark a fresh round of conflict.
Across town, Days spoilers say Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will push Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) away on Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) birthday. Although Stephanie will offer to head to the cemetery with Chad, he’ll insist on going alone.
Even though Stephanie will seem to understand, she will still feel wounded that Chad didn’t turn to her for support when he needed it. Chad will nevertheless feel awkward about taking his new love to visit his late wife’s grave. Stephanie will be concerned about where things are in their relationship since she will believe that it is just another tactic for Chad to put distance between them. On this day of recollection, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), who had an altercation with Clyde in jail, will call Chad and give him some sound counsel.
