The DWTS season 32 contestant was out on a date with Emma Slater amid his separation from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star
Although Mauricio Umansky, Kyle Richards’ husband, recently stated that the couple is working on their marriage, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress was recently seen out on a date with someone else. The Dancing with the Stars contestant and his wife acknowledged earlier this year that they were going through a difficult time, but they have since presented a unified face, with Kyle even showing up at the DWTS premiere.
Though the reality star appeared supportive as her husband showed off his dance moves with partner Emma Slater, she might feel differently now…
Mauricio, 53, and Emma, 34, were spotted out on what appeared to be a flirtatious date on Sunday in Los Angeles, going to Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills for supper.
In pictures published by Page Six, the couple can be seen having fun on their date and strolling hand in hand. In one picture, Mauricio can be seen putting his arm around Emma.
As soon as photos circulated social media, fans had a lot to say, with some rooting for the potential new couple while others were still holding out hope for a Kyle and Mauricio comeback.
“Awww good for Mau!!!! Love him,” one excited fan wrote, as others followed suit with: “Everyone is here for it,” and: “Good. He deserves to be happy,” as well as: “Good for him and her.”
However others argued: “This makes me cry a bit,” with another netizen suggesting: “They are dance partners and just close friends. Y’all need to chill.”
Just last month, Mauricio declared divorce is not in the cards for him and Kyle, though confirmed their separation when he told TMZ: “Kyle and I are human beings, OK? We have emotions, we have feelings, we’re going through a really hard time, OK?”
Adding that divorce is “not a part of our conversation right now” and that it is “not part of what we’re dealing with,” he stated, “We are currently separated, we are not talking about divorce, and we’re trying to deal with this stuff internally with ourselves privately.” We have a separation to deal with.
Emma’s own marriage to Sasha Farber, whom she married in 2018 and divorced from in 2022, is currently in dissolution.
The two have already filed for divorce, but remain co-stars on DTWS; Sasha is currently also a dance pro on season 32, as Alyson Hannigan’s dance partner.
