On Thursday, November 16, Married at First Sight UK (MAFS) aired its last episode, capping a dramatic season that saw everything from a competitor quitting to a pair being kicked off. Following a dramatic dinner party where fans were devastated to learn that a number of their favorite couples had broken up, the episode was the second of a two-part reunion.
Some of the popular MAFS UK couples who spectators anticipated would survive the experiment were Matt and Adrienne, Jay and Luke, Erica and Jordan, and Tasha and Paul. However, it’s safe to say that each of their adventures ultimately took quite a different turn.
Peggy and Georges saw their relationship put to the test, while Thomas and Rozz ended up breaking up just a week before vow renewals. Eek.
So who is still together from MAFS UK 2023? Here’s everything we know.
Are Tasha and Paul still together?
Yes, yes and yes. Tasha and Paul seemed to be one of the most solid couples in the Married at First Sight UK line up, with Tasha saying she had found her “forever person” in Paul in a sweet Instagram post. The pair looked ecstatic as they tied the knot on MAFS UK and put in work to build their relationship through the experiment.
In an Instagram post, Paul said “Thank you to the beautiful bride @itstashajay for saying YES đ°ââïž”, with a similarly loved up Tasha commenting back “Thanks for turning up đđ€”.
The couple revealed that after filming Paul had visited Tasha in Leeds and they had since holidayed together, with them reaching the âI love you” stage. During the final dinner reunion the pair revealed they were talking about moving in together and eventually starting a family.
Are Peggy and Georges still together?
Starting off with some good news â yes, they are! The couple recommitted to each other at the final vows, with the pair still going strong at the reunion. While their marriage has had its fair share of ups and downs, mainly due to Peggy’s family taking issue with Georges, they are still very much a thing and even have plans to move in together!
Even though Peggy acknowledged having some reservations during the final commitment ceremony, she went on to say that her family has grown to love Georges ever since the filming, with Georges even mentioning how important Peggy’s family’s acceptance was to him. Adorable. “Thank you to my Prince Charming @georgesbert for being patient and supportive and for never giving up on us,” Peggy wrote in a recent Instagram post.
Are Erica and Jordan still together?
Erica and Jordan joined Married At First Sight UK later on, marrying and going on their honeymoon after the rest of the couples. While the reunion episode might have introduced some doubt, Erica and Jordan are in fact still together. The couple ended up recommitting to one another and seeing how their relationship would fare in the outside world, going on to reveal that they found the space to build a meaningful connection off camera, with the pair taking a holiday together and visiting one another’s hometowns of Edinburgh and Sheffield.
Though a rumour that Jordan had cheated on a night out posed a threat to their relationship at the reunion dinner party, he denied these rumours and later apologised to Erica at the final commitment ceremony, assuring Erica that he would never hurt her.
Having left the dinner upset, Erica eventually came around to letting Jordan back in, explaining that she would, understandably, have her walls up for a while but that she was ultimately willing to accept his apology and move forward.
Following the final commitment ceremony Erica took to Instagram, writing in a post âWhat an absolute rollercoaster âšđ€ This has been one of the most challenging, incredible journeys of my entire life and I wouldnât change any of it for the world! Iâm so proud of us đ Letâs see what chapter 2 has in store đ«¶đ»â
Are Laura and Arthur still together?
Nope. The couple made it to their last vows, and although Arthur wanted to work on their marriage, Laura was finally unwilling to do so. She said, “I know we’ve grown as individuals in this process, but the more I grow as a person, the more I grow apart from you,” and handed back her wedding ring. Although I’ve always been a fixer, I’ve come to the conclusion that this relationship is beyond repair. I’m going to return this [wedding ring] to you because you made me realize what I don’t want, but I also want to thank you for helping me accept who I am. You won’t be ideal for me, but you will be for someone else.
In response, a clearly upset Arthur said “That made me feel like crap, I didn’t really see it coming, ultimately I was trying to make things work on the outside and I’m really gutted that she didn’t feel the same way, we could have had something special.”
Completely fair! We can’t say we didn’t see it coming given that she confessed he wasn’t her usual type on their wedding day, with this likely not helped along by the fact that Arthur sourced his vows from Google.
While Arthur was notably absent from the reunion, Laura explained that she felt like she had to call time on their relationship because she felt that the work she was putting in to the relationship wasn’t being appreciated.
Are Adrienne and Matt still together?
Sadly, no! Though Adrienne and Matt said yes during the final vows, the pair revealed during the reunion that they had mutually decided to split, though Matt had said he was willing to try and felt like Adrienne had mentally checked out when she got home.
Despite the instant attraction at the altar and their bonding over their respective family situations, ultimately they called it quits, though both recalled the experience fondly and said they wouldn’t have wanted to have gone through the experiment with anyone else. In fact, there were claims that Matt had moved on to date Shona, with a source telling The Sun that the pair were spotted in a Starbucks together and the seemed to be getting on well. Iiiiinteresting.
Are Ella and JJ still together?
Ella and JJ had a bumpy start to their Married at First Sight experience to say the least. Ella entered the experiment with Nathaniel, while JJ had just married Bianca. Though things quickly moved on when Ella and JJ both admitted they had feelings for one another. This all came to a dramatic head at a dinner party where Nathaniel left the show and Bianca was left in tears. So, are the pair still going strong?
While the two clearly had strong chemistry and still follow one another on Instagram, as over November, Ella deleted all references to KK from her Instagram account, with JJ deleting any previous comments on her posts. Ultimately, the pair said âNoâ at their final vows and didn’t try to work on their relationship outside. During the reunion, the pair admitted that while they felt a connection, marriage wasn’t right for them.
Are Jay and Luke still together?
Though Jay and Luke started as one of the strongest MAFS UK couples, the pair were forced to leave the show early following an altercation Luke had with fellow groom Jordan. Despite the early exist, Jay and Luke seemed like they wanted to still give things a go, with the pair even holidaying together. However, Luke explained that he felt as though distance and communication were too big blockers for the relationship, and during the final dinner party reunion episode we had the sad confirmation that the couple had since split, with Jay explaining to the other brides that Luke had deemed they were “better off as friends”.
During the reunion, they revealed they were strong after leaving the experiment and even went on holiday. However, Luke said things changed when Jay asked for more communication and said fundamentally the distance was the problem.
While Jay says she was expecting it, she expressed that while she had wanted to make things work, ultimately a relationship needs both people to put the effort in, while Luke said there wasn’t any more fight left and that he wouldn’t change for anyone.
Are Rozz and Thomas still together?
Much to our dismay, no. Despite an uncomfortable wedding day, Rozz and Thomas’ relationship seemed to only be getting stronger, with the pair clearly committed to making their journey work. Though ultimately it wasn’t meant to be, with Rozz having a change of heart and admitting she just wanted to be friends. After their homestays week, Rozz told Thomas âI feel like I’ve come home and my heart’s just not in it… it’s made me realise that this world I’m living and reality is totally different from the apartments.â
While the pair didn’t go the distance, they seen to be on good terms with one another, praising each other on social media, with Thomas telling the experts that Rozz is the “most wonderful” person he’s ever met and that he doesn’t want to lose their friendship.
Are Brad and Shona still together?
100% no, and we have to say we’re glad for it. While Brad and Shona seemed to have chemistry at the altar, the pair went their separate ways after Brad was kicked off the show following behaviour and language to Shona that led to concern. Channel 4 explained that the “environment was not working for the couple and it was the right time to leave the experiment.”
Their departure played out on MAFS, with expert Paul telling them: “What I’m seeing happen is you have devolved, what it sounds like is there are moments when the desire is there but there are a lot of moments, where you are saying Shona, that you feel belittled, to a point where this is not a healthy relationship, and I know you know this, but this is not working, it’s just not.”
They did, however, reunite at the reunion, where Brad told the experts that while the physical attraction was there, there wasn’t an emotional one. Likewise, in an interview with The Mirror, he said “I most definitely can confirm that I wasn’t in love, but at that time, it was a strong feeling of lust that I got confused with.” Right. Meanwhile, Shona told the experts she felt love bombed by Brad and that while she wished him the best she didn’t want to be friends.
Are Sean and Mark still together?
Things were never looking that hopeful for Mark and Sean, who were the final couple to tie the know on Married At First Sight UK, with Mark saying that he ‘didn’t get what he wanted’ at the altar. While things seemed to be looking better on their honeymoon, it became very apparent that Sean wasn’t interested in Mark. Sean decided to leave the experiment, letting his husband know in a letter. Having said that, the pair do still follow each other on Instagram so we’re hopeful they’re still on good terms!
Are Porscha and Terence still together?
With Terence leaving the program at the second commitment ceremony, Porscha and Terence became the first couple to call it quits on their romance during their rocky journey through Married at First Sight UK. Even though they appeared to get closer during intimacy week, considering that the couple’s honeymoon was marred by an actual spoon argument, we can’t say we’re shocked that things didn’t work out.
After Luke discovered that Porscha had played spin the bottle with other guys and had written “leave” during the second commitment ceremony, things soon went south. As of right now, the two do not have each other as Instagram followers.
