Tulsa King Season 2 Just Found The Best Way To Use Mike “Cash Flo” Walden’S Bigfoot Character

Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, who plays Bigfoot in Tulsa King season 2, finally got his chance to fully shine in Sylvester Stallone’s crime series. Walden is a new addition to the cast of Tulsa King season 2, and though he’s only appeared in a handful of episodes so far, he’s made quite an impression. Even as Dwight’s fight with Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough) and Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo) intensifies, Bigfoot remains cool and calm under pressure. Luckily, Tulsa King recently found out that letting Bigfoot get heated can be even more compelling.

Walden’s Bigfoot has been one of the best new characters in Tulsa King season 2 since he first appeared on-screen. From that moment in the season premiere, Bigfoot has been a quiet but constant presence on the show. Whether it’s protecting Dwight and his family, ambushing would-be assassins, or cleaning up the egg whites that Dwight doesn’t want to eat, Bigfoot has made himself a huge asset to the gang. Tulsa King season 2, episode 5, however, proved that Bigfoot can be used to a much greater – and cooler – effect.

Tulsa King Season 2, Episode 5 Finally Let Bigfoot Use His Pro Wrestling Experience

Mike “Cash Flo” Walden Has Professional Wrestling Experience From The OVW

Towards the ending of Tulsa King season 2, episode 5, Walden finally got a chance to show off his professional wrestling experience. Before he got a role on television, Walden was a professional wrestler for Ohio Valley Wrestling who went by “Cash Flo.” Until now, Walden hadn’t yet displayed the talents he used in the OVW, but after Cal Thresher’s men started attacking Dwight’s wind farm, Dwight and his crew arrived to beat up the attackers. Bigfoot smashed through Thresher’s men like they were made of cardboard, and he used quite a few pro wrestling moves in the process.

Throughout the fight, Bigfoot used some intense fighting techniques. While the rest of the gang was sticking to punches and blows from baseball bats, Bigfoot was throwing haymakers, kicks, tossing people around like sacks of flour, snapping sledgehammers, and he even delivered a flying body slam. Bigfoot’s involvement in the fight was a huge step up from the role he has taken so far in Tulsa King season 2: the most he had previously done was put Carl into a choke hold during the failed hit on Dwight. Not only was Bigfoot’s role more active, it also served as the best moment of the episode.

Bigfoot’s Fight Scene Was The Highlight Of Tulsa King Season 2, Episode 5

Tulsa King Season 2, Episode 5 Was A Fairly Slow Episode Aside From The Fight Scene

Aside from the fight at the wind farm, not much happened in Tulsa King season 2, episode 5. Most of what happened in the episode, like Bill Bevilaqua and Chickie arranging a meet-up, Mitch’s meeting with Donnie, and Cal’s other attempts at attacking Dwight, felt like they were setting up a future episode rather than making the current episode compelling. The fight at the wind farm was extremely important to Tulsa King season 2, episode 5: without it, the entire episode would have been one of the dullest and weakest of the entire season.

Bigfoot’s fight at the wind farm worked perfectly in the context of Tulsa King season 2, episode 5, to keep viewers’ attention, but it also served as a great change of pace for the series as a whole. For example, the fight at the wind farm was very similar to the brawl with the Black Macadams in Tulsa King season 1. Both scenes featured Dwight and the gang retaliating against a rival’s attack, and they turned into all-out brawls. The scenes played out very differently, however, because of Bigfoot and his absolute dominance over his opponents.

Tulsa King Needs To Keep Letting Bigfoot Dominate Action Scenes

Bigfoot’s Dominance Is Both Cool & Makes Sense In Tulsa King’s Story

Bigfoot is clearly the secret ingredient for a good Tulsa King fight scene, and the show needs to continue using him as much as possible. Walden brings a level of physicality that Tulsa King has never had before, and he makes the fight scenes a lot more exciting and intense. If there is another fight scene in Tulsa King season 2 that doesn’t include Bigfoot, it will immediately be at a disadvantage. Without Bigfoot, the show’s fights just can’t be as entertaining as they could be; the proverbial Rubicon has been crossed.

Without Bigfoot, Tulsa King’s fights just can’t be as entertaining as they could be; the proverbial Rubicon has been crossed.

On top of the simple fact that Tulsa King’s fight scenes can’t be as good anymore without Bigfoot, they also wouldn’t make sense without him. Bigfoot has been acting as Dwight’s personal bodyguard for several episodes now. As tensions rise even further and the danger Dwight is in increases, there’s no realistic way that he would be involved in a fight without Bigfoot as backup. Plus, another fight scene featuring Bigfoot would be the perfect way to help Tulsa King get through exposition in the future. There’s really no reason Tulsa King shouldn’t make use of Bigfoot and Mike “Cash Flo” Walden as much as possible.
