Major Home and Away spoilers follow from Wednesday’s season finale in Australia (November 20), which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away has aired its final episode of the year in Australia, leaving fans on a big cliffhanger involving Cash Newman.
Cash was left with blood on his hands in the closing moments of the season finale episode, following weeks of tension between him and his love rival Tim Russell.
In recent weeks, Cash has struggled with his jealousy after seeing his ex-fiancée Eden Fowler move on with newcomer Tim.
Tim was introduced as a therapist for Eden’s younger sister Abigail, which raised questions over his professionalism when he crossed the line by dating Eden.
Nerida Mullins, a past client of Tim’s, later arrived on the scene after being contacted by Cash. She claimed that Tim had broken the rules by pursuing an inappropriate relationship with her too.
Cash united Nerida and Abigail to both make formal complaints to Tim’s employer, but he was horrified when he later realised that Nerida was a fantasist and her allegations had no merit.
In Wednesday’s episode, Eden headed off to a remote luxury villa with her Lyrik bandmates to enjoy two weeks of uninterrupted rehearsal time.
The reunited group needed time away following noise complaints from neighbours over their recent performances at home, so they made the most of the opportunity by bringing along some guests.
Eden got Tim on board to join in the fun, Remi invited his girlfriend Bree Cameron, and band manager Justin Morgan also tagged along.
Back in the Bay, Cash was horrified to find Eden’s home trashed and Tim’s car vandalised outside – seemingly by an unstable Nerida.
With Eden stubbornly ignoring his phone calls, Cash headed off to the villa to warn her that her connections to Tim were painting a target on her back.
Once Cash arrived, he found himself in a heated showdown with Tim, who was struggling to trust his words of warning after the police officer’s erratic behaviour in recent months.
The clash turned violent before the scene cut away. Cash was then shown regaining consciousness the next morning, finding blood on his hands and a lifeless Tim nearby.
The scene looked damning as Justin rushed over and found Cash in a highly incriminating situation with Tim. Did Cash go too far, or is he about to be framed for a crime committed by Nerida?
