Theresa accuses Alex of avoiding her after sex and follows him home from Greece. She assures him that he need not run away every time he sees her. I am aware that you simply engaged in sexual activity with me out of sympathy. Her fears are allayed by his assurances. He has a strong attraction to this lovely woman.

Brady brings Victor’s briefcase to Justin in the Pub. He fills him in on the letter Konstantin mentioned and how Theresa followed him to Greece. Justin grows concerned when he learns Theresa pivoted to Alex after Brady shot her down. He doesn’t want that woman getting her hooks into his son. Brady is sure Alex has it under control. Justin leaves to give the briefcase to Maggie.

Theresa acknowledges that their night was hot at Alex’s house, but she has a tendency to put people and herself in danger by putting off discomfort. She is making an effort to stop doing it. Alex can identify. She want passionate sex without becoming a heated mess. As he draws her closer, Brady calls and asks her to come to the Pub. She is told not to let him speak to her in the same manner as he did the night before by Alex. She expresses her gratitude for his support and recommends they go to the dinner they had originally planned. He’d appreciate that.

When Philip meets Vivian at Titan, he recoils from her attempt at a hug. She asks him, as her “first and only choice,” to be her right-hand man. “Why would you ever think I would want to work for you?” he asks, flabbergasted. She reminds him she carried him in her womb. She wants to feel close to him like that again. “Please, Philip,” she begs, “come back to Titan. You belong here.” Philip gives her a hard pass. But suggests if she wants to please him, she give Maggie back her home and Titan. When hell freezes over, Vivian responds.

They are clearly nothing to one another, according to Philip. And no job is worth that—working at Titan helped finance his stint in the mental hospital. If Philip gives Vivian what she wants, she promises to do everything in her power to get Chloe back for Philip. Philip observes that Victor’s strategy is being used in this manipulation. He formerly would have leaped at the chance to get Victor’s approval, but Vivian is by herself now. Now when he is healed, Vivian is still completely insane. He advises her to call the hospital and accept whatever openings they may have. Vivian is upset as he leaves in an outburst.

As Sarah fawns over baby Victoria at the hospital, she flashes back to Xander helping her through labor. Xander dreams of the same thing while in bed with Chloe. He startles awake and tells Chloe of his dream. He marvels over how she wasn’t jealous or upset that he was helping his ex. Instead, she was comforting Sarah as well. It impressed the hell out of him. Chloe, too, was impressed by Xander’s ability to put his history with Sarah aside to make her feel safe. After declaring their love, Xander and Chloe get amorous. Chloe stops to remind him they need to plan their wedding. Xander suggests they get married today, in New York City. Chloe says it’s crazy and impulsive, and she’ll need to race right over to the Square to buy a dress. She eagerly says to all of it, and they passionately kiss.

When Maggie visits Sarah and Victoria, Sarah detects something is wrong. After failing to deflect, Maggie tells her about Vivian. Later, Rex drops by to suggest he and Sarah get married today. They can get married at the Pub with Maggie as their officiant or witness. While a bristling Maggie agrees to keep the secret, she reiterates that Xander has a right to know he is Victoria’s father. As a recent widow, she declines to preside over a sham wedding and leaves.

Alone with Rex, Sarah assures him that Maggie hasn’t changed her mind about their plans. Rex agrees that marriage is a big deal and asks if Sarah needs more time. Sarah wants the three of them to be a family. So, there’s no reason to wait. Rex promises he’ll be a better father for her daughter than any other man could possibly be. Victoria has stolen his heart, and he’s hopeful he can win back Sarah’s. He leaves to get rings.

Brady informs Theresa at the pub that Tate’s school has called him. He was kicked out, but they didn’t explain why. Theresa is unsure of the potential significance of this. According to Brady, he will fly there today. Theresa promises to accompany him, he says. “The hell you are,” he responds. She reminds him that she has been parenting their son on her own. Brady withdraws. He is aware that she is a decent mother. He also expresses regret for his actions in Greece. She must have had to pay for the hotel room, which he would be pleased to cover. They return to talking about Tate when she declines with a guilty expression on her face.

Alex is Vivian’s first and only pick to be her right-hand man, and she calls Alex to Titan to let him know. Justin gives Maggie Victor’s briefcase at the Horton House. He assures her that nobody has inspected the inside. Maggie asks him to stay in case there is something terrible inside even though he wants to give her some privacy. She finds the stack of letters inside, along with a manila envelope, when she opens it. She produces a recently dated will to show Victor destroyed his previous will in order to make the new one.

Alone with Victoria at the hospital, Sarah thinks about Maggie’s words regarding Xander. He enters her room.

As Rex breezes through the Square, Philip flags him down. Rex tells his brother of his marriage plans and about the baby. Philip asks if he’s told their mother yet. Rex doesn’t want to lie to her. He leans in to confess he’s not the baby’s father. With a white garment bag slung over her arm, Chloe spots them. Her eyes widen as Rex says, “Xander is Victoria’s father.”
