Evicted Big Brother season 26 houseguest Brooklyn Rivera has left the game, and she’s now calling out her fellow houseguests for not playing it, and claiming that Tucker Des Lauriers is scared of her. Tucker was the Big Brother season 26 week 5 Head of Household (HOH), and he nominated Brooklyn, Cam Sullivan-Brown, and Quinn Martin for eviction. He eventually saved Quinn with the Power of Veto, after making it seem as though he was his target, when he was really trying to evict Brooklyn all along. Tucker saw her as the head of the snake plotting against him.
“Tucker was kind of like a kid that got picked last on the playground and it put a chip on his shoulder, so all he wanted to do from then on out is blow everyone’s game up.”
In an interview with EW, Brooklyn stated that Tucker targeted her for eviction “because he’s scared of me.” She went on to say that Tucker’s scared of someone who’s “smarter than him” and “has more cojones than him, and that’s me.” She added that she’s not someone who backs down. Brooklyn explained that Tucker “was kind of like a kid that got picked last on the playground and it put a chip on his shoulder, so all he wanted to do from then on out is blow everyone’s game up.” However, Brooklyn added that Tucker is “a wonderful person.”
Brooklyn Calls Out Big Brother 26 Houseguests For Not Making “Big Moves”
Brooklyn Thinks The Big Brother 26 Players Are “Scared”
Brooklyn said that she thinks that she was evicted because the houseguests “had already made up their minds. This house is a really scared house.” She explained that everyone is worried about being the next nominee due to the fact that there are three every week, along with a potential replacement nominee, and “people just don’t want to make the big moves. They are nervous to get on Tucker’s bad side.” Tucker has been such a wild card and a competition beast throughout the game so far, so it’s understandable that people are afraid of him.
Brooklyn specifically called out Leah Peters for “not playing the game at all.” She also said that Makensy “MJ” Manbeck is “confused and not in anything.” Brooklyn added, “Joseph [Rodriguez is] annoying and thinks that he is an actual mastermind, but he usually is just sleeping by the fish.” She said, “T’Kor [Clottey] and Kimo [Apaka] are floating on the backs of other people, and then Angela [Murray] again is just lucky to still be in the house, so she’ll make it a couple more weeks, I believe, until they don’t need her anymore.”
Although Brooklyn is correct that people are afraid to provoke Tucker, T’kor and Kimo aren’t floating. They were the masterminds behind blowing up Brooklyn’s Pentagon alliance, which now only has three of its five members left–Chelsie Baham, Cam Sullivan-Brown, and Quinn–and Quinn doesn’t really seem all that loyal to them. However, Brooklyn is right that Leah hasn’t been playing the game, and it would be exciting to see her win a competition or get nominated so that she’s forced to show her cards. She needs a jumpstart to her game.
It’s disappointing that Brooklyn was evicted so early because she was a force to be reckoned with in Big Brother 26. She was fearless and fought hard to stay in the house. However, Brooklyn’s mistake was joining Tucker’s Five Pointz alliance when she was already in the Collective and the Pentagon alliances. She’s another strong Big Brother 26 houseguest who left the game early, along with Matt Hardeman, Lisa Weintraub, and Cedric Hodges. Perhaps, Brooklyn will have another chance to prove herself in a future Big Brother season.
Big Brother season 26 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT and Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
