Days of Our Lives enjoys teasing its characters by weaving intricate webs of relationships between them. At the moment, Stephanie and Chad are attempting to get to a place where talking about marriage is possible. Sadly, things aren’t going very well! Jada and Rafe have recently begun a long-awaited but fresh romance! Now that their ex-husband Everett has returned to town without warning, both women are on the verge of losing it. The Mysterious EX Returns!
Days of Our Lives spoilers for this week reveal that actor Blake Berris will return to the soap on October 27, 2023. The talented actor previously played the character of Nick Fallon (now deceased). We recently saw him playing the Devil’s lackey in the purgatory storyline. However, this time round, Blake is not reviving Nick. In fact, he is returning as an all new character- Everett. Regular viewers of DOOL would remember Jada mentioning an ex-husband, whom she fell out with because they both were too busy at the time and grew apart.
It’s interesting to note that Stephanie has also briefly brought up her former boyfriend on Days of Our Lives. The man who promised her a bright future with him and then pulled a Houdini on her after stringing her along for a while! But none of us anticipated that Jada’s ex and Stephanie would actually be the same man! Furthermore, there is nothing but trouble ahead for both girls in his homecoming at this juncture in their life!
Whose Relationship Will Everett’s Return Bomb On Days of Our Lives?
Jada has just started a new one with Rafe. The two had been tip toeing around their own feelings for years on Days of Our Lives. All because of a no dating subordinates policy in Salem PD. However, recently, the two just let their emotions flow, and went “for it” despite the dating ban! So, an ex-husband’s return when Jada and Rafe’s relationship is still so new can spell a lot of trouble. Especially, since Jada has never really said anything bad about her ex. She always made it sound like the timing wasn’t right. So what if seeing him again brings back old feelings?
Regarding Stephanie, she recently moved in with Chad, which was a big step forward. However, the discussion of marriage has slightly altered their dynamic. Chad finds it extremely difficult to accept the idea of being married to someone else after Abigail. Thus, Everett’s arrival back at this point could introduce even another level of complexity. In particular, because there is a great deal of unresolved emotional baggage and unfinished business between him and Stephanie.
