Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, October 9 to October 20, reveal that Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann) homecoming will bring some family hostility. During the week of October 9-13, Tate won’t be happy about getting dragged back to Salem and forced to get a pub job to pay for school prank damages.

Nevertheless, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will lay down the law and make it clear that Tate’s going to learn some hard life lessons.

When Tate runs across Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) at the park, he’ll be going through a tough period, so he’ll discover a buddy when he needs one and fall in love with her right away. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), who will learn about the adolescents’ intimate moment, will cause some controversy and may advise Holly to stay away from Brady’s troublesome son.

Speaking of trouble, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) will stir up more of it when she insists on going out on a dinner date with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). Although Alex will hesitate at first, Theresa will convince him that he needs to relax after all the Kiriakis will developments and the shakeup he forced at Titan. It turns out Alex and Theresa will end up at the same restaurant as Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), so that’ll bring some awkward moments.

But it will also encourage Alex to quit yearning for Stephanie and start falling for Theresa. Alex will begin to take Theresa’s proposition more seriously since he will feel the need to move on. Unfortunately, Stephanie and Chad’s relationship will have some problems. After the passing of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Chad might get anxious about the prospect of remarrying, which should put Stephanie at a distance from him emotionally.

Other Days spoilers hint that Nicole will have some dating advice for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) as he prepares for a night out with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).

Paulina will get some guidance from Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) as well, so maybe they can help her overcome any nerves she might be battling.

As for Chanel and Johnny, their movie night at the DiMera mansion will come with some kissing and an unexpected appearance from Holly. Days spoilers say Holly will interrupt this date and sit between the lovebirds at one point, but Johnny and Chanel may eventually get their evening together back on track. It might even end with lovemaking in Johnny’s bedroom if Chanel’s ready to take that step again.

Although EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will urge Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to testify against Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and help put her away, Susan has forgiven Ava and will apparently refuse in the end.

Days spoilers say Susan will eventually head back home to Memphis for a reunion with Roger, so she’ll bid EJ farewell before she goes. As for Ava and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), it seems they’ll avoid another stint in Bayview and remain free in Salem.

DOOL fans can expect Harris and Ava to share a kiss soon, so their romance will quickly bloom.

Over with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), he’ll reflect on his history with Belle Brady (Martha Madison) as they catch up ahead of his departure.

Belle cheated on Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) with Philip in the past, so that’ll be on her mind as she ultimately has a tough conversation with her husband.

There has been a lot of suffering in this marriage, of course, as Shawn and Belle also had to cope with the devil, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell), EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), and now Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian). A sorrowful separation between Shawn and Belle appears to be imminent as they may decide they want the misery to end. They will formally leave together with Philip and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), returning to them, and depart for New York in search of a new beginning.

Next, John Kapelos will reprise his role as Konstantin Meleounis, so Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will get a visit from Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) friend. Konstantin will come all the way from Greece to deliver a gift to Maggie, so she’ll be curious over what’s inside the box. As for Sarah Horton Brady (Linsey Godfrey), she’ll reel when she hears the news about Susan’s survival.

The fact that Susan’s alive will soften Sarah toward Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) somewhat, but perhaps not for long since he’s about to go after full custody with Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) help.

Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will lash out when he gets updates on Sloan’s decision to represent Xander in his custody fight, so that’ll lead to some problems in their relationship. During the week of October 16-20, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will find himself stuck in a dangerous faceoff. Ava will also be threatened over the phone, so it sounds like she’ll be in danger right along with Tripp.

As for Harris, he’ll propose a new job, but will it be for Ava or himself? Both Ava and Harris will need to find employment, so we’ll see what they come up with.

Talia will make a critical decision regarding the future after some introspection. Talia’s choice might cause her to leave Salem and resign from the hospital soon enough. Chad will get in touch with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) in the interim so that he can visit Statesville and check how he’s doing. Chad will use Lucas as a sounding board for any love worries, so he may have some helpful insight.

Now that Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) could be forced to face a lengthy prison sentence of his own, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will scheme to stop that from happening. Leo and Dimitri will work on an escape plot together, so that’s sure to cause some chaos!

Elsewhere, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will get honest with Sarah, so that may involve his legal expertise and the custody situation.

Sarah may grow fearful about Xander’s courtroom strategy and the possibility that he could truly take Victoria Horton away from her.

Justin may think it’d be better to avoid the risk and work out a custody agreement with Xander, so we’ll see what Sarah decides.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say the next two weeks will bring some highs and lows in Salem, so stay tuned.
