Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of November 20-24 reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) won’t want Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) to be alone for Thanksgiving, so she’ll invite him over to the Horton house.
Stephanie will give Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) updates on Everett joining them, so that’ll bring an explanation about him being her ex-boyfriend. Julie will acknowledge that Thanksgiving dinner is going to be awkward this year – and that’ll certainly be the case for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Chad will have to sit there watching Stephanie toast with Everett, so he won’t be happy about the flirting happening right in front of him. At some point, Chad may insist he’d like to make a toast of his own and stand up to make his big announcement.
“I just bought half of The Spectator and my first act is to fire your ass,” Chad declares in DOOL’s weekly preview video.
Of course, promos like this can often be misleading! Would Chad really risk riling Stephanie up by blurting that out at the dinner table?
Days spoilers say Stephanie will deal with suspicions about Chad, which suggests she still won’t know about his purchase from Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien).
This could be a situation where Chad imagines saying exactly what he wants to say to Everett – only to snap out of it and actually say something more in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will figure out that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) seems to have a crush on Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
When Chanel gives Johnny the news, he’ll downplay the idea and insist Holly is like his little sister.
However, Holly sees Johnny as far more than an older stepbrother, so she’ll recruit Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) to help her break up Johnny and Chanel.
Since Tate needs a way to fix things after overstepping recently, Holly may insist this is how he can make it up to her.
DOOL’s preview video also shows a moment where Johnny dabs Holly’s mouth with a napkin, so there’ll be chances for her to pick up on the wrong signals.
However, as their romance develops, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will feel a strong connection with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). It appears that Abe will indeed get a flashback while eating Thanksgiving dinner with Paulina.
Abe will confess that he still wants to kiss Paulina after remembering a previous instance.
Days teasers indicate that Paulina will be happy to oblige, as she will give Abe a tender kiss while they are eating dinner together.
As for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), they’ll struggle to resist their spark.
Once Xander calls off the custody feud, Sarah will ask what it is that he really wants.
