According to teasers for Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) wants to ask Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) to marry her. Theresa has to marry soon in order to receive the enormous Kiriakis inheritance that she covertly assisted Alex in inheriting.
Though he is likely still expecting his cut from Theresa, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) is working on his own scheme to trick Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) into getting married. Konstantin would be better off sticking with his initial plan with Theresa because his new plot involving their marriage could backfire. A deal is a bargain, after all! Theresa may continue to be pushed by Konstantin to get Alex to the altar as soon as possible because he is avaricious and will not allow money to escape his grasp.
Theresa will be working for Alex once she begins running the revived version of Bella Magazine for him. Days spoilers say that could give Alex and Theresa a chance to grow even closer while on the job together at Titan. Between that and Theresa’s living arrangement with Alex, it’ll lead to more flying sparks.
Theresa knows how to manipulate Alex awfully well and could make him feel like she’s the only one who understands him.
Of course, Theresa still has feelings for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so Days spoilers say those feelings will interfere with her plot in the coming months.
It looks Theresa will steal a kiss from Brady at some point and get caught by Alex, so she’ll have some explaining to do.
Nevertheless, DOOL fans know Theresa has a knack for talking her way out of trouble.
It’s easy to imagine Theresa smoothing things over and maybe even twisting the situation around to blame Brady.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Theresa will try to score a marriage proposal from Alex – and if she gets one, she’ll no doubt push for a fast wedding, too.
Theresa may insist there’s no need to wait since she doesn’t want some flashy, expensive ceremony.
It would fit with Theresa’s attempt to make Alex believes she’s in this for love and not his newly inherited fortune.
But Theresa and Alex’s wedding might go horribly wrong, particularly if that’s the soap opera moment where her deceit is revealed. Alex might learn then that Theresa collaborated with Konstantin on a scheme to counterfeit the letter and completely upend his world.
Theresa could be thrown out of the wedding for tricking Alex and ruining his life since Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is the hidden son that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was finally attempting to acknowledge in his will!
