According to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) may cause issues for Clyde Weston (James Read), who has hired Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) to oversee his pharmaceutical company while he’s imprisoned.
Ava can’t risk anything happening to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), so Clyde believes he has her exactly where he wants her. If Clyde was responsible for Tripp’s tragic end because his mother wouldn’t comply, Ava would never be able to forgive herself.
Days spoilers say that means Ava will have to play by Clyde’s rules and return to a life of crime. However, Wendy is someone who likes to snoop, so that could become an issue as this DOOL storyline moves along.
That is especially true now that Wendy is about to start working for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) at the Salem PD! Days teasers indicate Rafe would hire Wendy and let her do her thing because she has a variety of abilities, including IT, that may be a big value.
Sadly, Days teasers indicate that Clyde could not approve of Tripp’s girlfriend working for the police. Clyde might get more information if Wendy becomes suspicious of Ava and begins looking into it, which would make him even more worried.
Clyde has put far too much work into planning this empire, so there’s no way he’s going to let Wendy or anyone else blow this for him.
If Wendy found out what was going on, she’d tell Tripp – and then Tripp would inevitably try to get Ava out of this mess. However, Clyde doesn’t truly want to take Tripp out despite his threats. Keeping Tripp alive is essential if Clyde wants to keep the ability to control Ava.
That brings us back to Wendy since Clyde might want to take her out instead and send a clear message to Ava of what he’s capable of. It’d be a good reminder to keep Ava in line. Clyde might think it’d work out best just to get rid of the snooper and keep Tripp distracted in his time of mourning.
