According to Days of Our Lives (DOOL) teasers, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will uphold a promise he made to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton Brady (Linsey Godfrey). Fans of DOOL will recall that Xander swore to battle for Victoria Horton with more ferocity than he had ever fought for anything in his life because of Sarah’s paternity hoax.
If Sarah had just told the truth from the get-go, she could’ve worked out a reasonable custody agreement with Xander.
Although Xander has a shady history, he’d never harm his own innocent baby girl – and that’s something Sarah really should’ve taken into account.
Now that Sarah has riled Xander up, she could lose Victoria in court. Rex gloated to Xander about how no judge would side with a convicted felon, but he just might be wrong about that!
After all, the judge awarded full custody of Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) instead of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so anything can happen when it comes to cases like this on Days.
When it comes to Xander, he’ll certainly be willing to play dirty to get what he wants.
That could involve blackmailing the judge or threatening one of their family members if need be.
Then again, Days spoilers say there might be other tactics that Xander could use to lock in his preferred custody outcome – like bribery.
Days teasers suggest that because Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) clearly falsified Anjelica Deveraux’s (Judith Chapman) signature, Xander would finally be identified as Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) legitimate son.
Xander will have a fresh fortune to deal with once Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is made to give up that part of Victor’s estate.
Although Xander had earlier pretended he wouldn’t accept Victor’s money, he might later change his mind and use the money to bribe a judge.
Bottom line, it’s a mistake for Rex and Sarah to get too smug about the custody feud that’s brewing.
Sarah and Rex may be respected doctors, but that doesn’t guarantee they’ll emerge victorious here.
Will Xander ultimately pull off a big win and score full custody? Will Sarah lose little Victoria to her true father and end up devastated?
