According to previews for Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will go into labor too soon as a result of a vehicle accident. Nicole’s kid will be delivered by Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) by the side of the road, but there will be some absurd twists and turns in store.
It won’t be too difficult for Melinda Trask (Tina Haung) to assist Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) in Nicole’s unlawful adoption of her newborn baby, given that a paid doctor has declared the boy dead.
Nicole may substitute any random stillborn child from the hospital for Nicole’s want to see her baby and say goodbye.
Days spoilers say Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will become an adoptive dad to his own flesh and blood, but he won’t realize that just yet.
Of course, Eric will support Nicole as she deals with the devastation of thinking her precious bundle of joy didn’t make it.
That’ll lead to some jealous DOOL scenes for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) as he watches Nicole crumble in Eric’s arms.
EJ will be able to see Eric and Nicole’s lingering feelings first-hand, so he’ll inevitably worry about them reconnecting. That could be important if EJ perhaps follows a trail and uncovers the stunning truth.
EJ is a pretty smart guy, so he may figure out that Sloan’s newly adopted child is actually Nicole’s little one.
Regretfully, EJ may also discover that the child isn’t his. Because Sloan tampered with the DNA report switch, Days viewers are aware that there is paternity proof in the DiMera safe.
Melinda, Sloan, or both could persuade EJ that if he comes clean, he will lose Nicole for all time.
EJ might become very motivated to join the baby theft cover-up if Nicole wanted to be reunited with Eric so they could raise their child together.
That would mean allowing Nicole to grieve needlessly, but even so, EJ might remain silent for fear that she would leave him for Eric.
In other words, EJ may become privy to Sloan’s paternity secret and baby-stealing, but he might tell himself he has to stay quiet to prevent Eric and Nicole’s reunion!
