Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), who is getting ready for some courtroom drama, will look for a new attorney. There is no getting around the fact that Xander has a horrific background, but he is adamant about standing up for his daughter and acting as a true parent to her.
That is why Xander is determined to raise his child and pull off a victory. Days teasers indicate that Xander will decide he needs a stronger lawyer and will choose one who has demonstrated a willingness to be harsh if necessary to win. Of course, we’re referring to Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), who is regarded as the dubious lawyer in town.
Sloan knows that sometimes you have to sink low to rise above your opponent in court, so she may remind Xander of that during their first strategy session. In other words, Sloan may argue that Xander can’t get soft on her and decide he wants to go easy on Sarah Horton Brady (Linsey Godfrey). Perhaps Sloan will warn Xander to shove down any old feelings that might bubble up and focus on the goal of raising his daughter.
Victoria Horton is Xander’s fresh and blood, so he wants a connection with her and has to be willing to fight hard if he’s going to emerge victorious.
Days spoilers say Xander will assure Sloan that he’s on board, so they’ll talk about what tactics they’ll use with the judge. It looks like Sloan will agree to help Xander seek full custody, which will definitely be a challenge when he’s got a criminal record that’s a mile long. Nevertheless, DOOL fans know Sloan doesn’t like to lose and will have a few tricks up her sleeve.
Sloan’s strategy ought to impress Xander, but there’s one person who won’t!
Days spoilers indicate that when Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) learns Sloan has agreed to represent Xander in the custody dispute, he will lose his cool. Eric will be left wondering what Sloan is thinking as a result, and he will reprimand her for attempting to assist Xander in removing Sarah’s child from her. Sloan can remind Eric that Victoria is also Xander’s child and contend that Sarah is being unfair by excluding Xander in this way.
