Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that as the drama surrounding the baby swap unfolds, Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) may find an unexpected ally. Is Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) going to be essential in Nicole’s ability to unravel this mystery?
Kristen is a schemer most of the time, but she does occasionally have a tender place. This is particularly true in the context of motherhood, as Kristen values her daughter Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) beyond all else.
There was a time when Kristen believed her little girl was gone forever, so she’ll surely have some sympathy for Nicole. Kristen may reflect on the pain she endured before the Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton baby switch was revealed and she was ultimately reunited with Rachel.
Of course, Kristen had some strange nightmares leading up to that moment. Days fans may recall that Kristen dreamed Rachel was alive and crying out – like she needed her mom to come find her. Nicole may end up having some bizarre dreams of her own and could perhaps get the feeling that her son is somehow still living.
Even if Dr. Pierce (Steve Mize) finds some other woman’s deceased baby to let Nicole hold and grieve for, she might still feel something deep in her gut. It could be a case of mother’s intuition that won’t let Nicole fully get past her denial.
If Nicole confides in Kristen, could Kristen become an ally and urge her to listen to her instincts? In a town like Salem where stolen baby plots happen all the time, you can’t be too careful.
Kristen might even help Nicole investigate since it’s not like she has any better storylines going on right now. Besides, Kristen has grown closer to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) lately – and this baby swap angle could be the reason why. Maybe DOOL writers wanted to build up that sibling bond in preparation for Kristen to play the hero for her brother and his wife.
Days spoilers claim that even though Kristen and Nicole won’t realize it at first, EJ will still be distraught because this baby doesn’t truly belong to him. Although Kristen and Nicole have previously been adversaries, the bond created by parenting could lead to Kristen joining Nicole on investigations. Maybe Kristen might even contact Peter Porte’s character, Dimitri von Leuschner, to find out more about his account of what happened that evening.
Nicole’s going to need some help to crack this case, so maybe it’ll be Kristen who comes through for her! Will Kristen figure out that Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty stole Nicole’s baby?
