After 57 years on the air, the relocation of Days of our Lives from NBC to the streaming site Peacock shocked many lifelong fans of the classic soap opera. However, NBC/Universal decided to prioritize it as one of its flagship shows on its companion streaming service. This was partly owing to its devoted fan base and viewership.

DAYS premiered in its new home on September 12th, 2022, and one year later, Peacock celebrated the show’s first anniversary in its current streaming home with an ice cream truck outside its Burbank studios on Monday.

Billy Flynn (Chad), Ella Cantu (Jada), Abigail Klein (Stephanie), Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes (Doug and Julie), Carson Boatman (Johnny), Raven Bowens (Chanel), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), Stephen Nichols (Steve), and Greg Vaughan (Eric) took a break from Salem to enjoy some ice cream.

Mary Beth Evans, who mentioned on social media that she used to serve ice cream, posed inside the ice cream truck with Stephen Nichols. It appears that “Stayla” like ice cream as well!
