Big Brother 26 houseguest Makensy Manbeck faced a huge decision at the end of the Wednesday, September 11 episode, as she considered saving Angela Murray from the chopping block, and the live feeds have revealed that she did save the controversial contestant from possible eviction. During the classic OTEV Power of Veto competition, Makensy made history as the first houseguest to win the iconic game in just one round, when all of her fellow competitors–nominees Angela and Kimo Apaka, Head of Household (HOH) Chelsie Baham, and random draw selections Rubina Bernabe and Quinn Martin were eliminated after answering the first question incorrectly.

Throughout Big Brother 26 week 8, HOH Chelsie has shifted her target. At first, she wanted Angela out of the house, but then, after a talk with Angela, she realized that Kimo is in a tight-knit trio with T’kor Clottey and Rubina, and could team up with Leah Peters and Quinn Martin. Therefore, she changed her mind and thought that evicting Kimo would be best. However, after Makensy won the Power of Veto, Chelsie and Makensy came up with another plan, which involved Makensy making a shocking move.

Big Brother 26’s Makensy Saved Angela With The Power Of Veto

This Is The Third Time Angela Has Been Saved

The Big Brother 26 live feeds revealed that Makensy saved Angela with the Power of Veto. Makensy and Chelsie decided that their priority should be breaking up the duo of Quinn and Leah, rather than the trio of Kimo, T’kor, and Rubina, whom they felt they could work with in the future. They also realized that there were bigger fish to fry than Angela, although they do want to see her leave sooner than later. This move was less about being loyal to Angela, who can be a loose cannon, and more about removing a bigger threat from the game.

This is the third time that Angela has been saved by a Power of Veto won by another person. The first time, Tucker Des Lauriers shockingly saved her when he was also a nominee because he was trying to put a plan in motion to backdoor Quinn. The second time, Angela’s ally, Leah, who wasn’t on the chopping block, saved her because she wanted Angela on the jury because she thought that she’d vote for her. Now Makensy has also saved Angela from possible eviction.

Who Did HOH Chelsie Nominate In Angela’s Place?

Chelsie Wanted To Break Up Leah & Quinn

HOH Chelsie decided to nominate Quinn in Angela’s place. Despite Quinn’s best efforts to campaign for himself, it seems that his fate is sealed, and he’ll be evicted. Although Quinn is the replacement nominee, he’s not being backdoored because he did have the chance to play in the Power of Veto competition. Without the BB A.I. Arena, he has no more chances to save himself through competitions. In addition, as the outgoing HOH, Quinn didn’t have the opportunity to compete for that power.

It’ll be interesting to see if the houseguests go through with their plan to evict Quinn. During Big Brother 26, they’ve been forced to make last-minute decisions on eviction night because of the BB A.I. Arena, so they’re used to changing their minds. Things can shift quite quickly in the Big Brother house, but, as of now, it appears that Quinn will be the first member of the Big Brother 26 jury. However, everyone should remember to “expect the unexpected” because a Big Brother 26 Battle Back could be on the horizon.
