Series eight of Married At First Sight UK concluded dramatically last week after eight weeks, 34 episodes, and a two-part reunion. The results revealed some shocking revelations about which couples survived the experiment.

Fans will be happy to hear that some of this year’s group has shot ANOTHER reunion special, which is scheduled to air in 2024, despite viewers calling the reunion show “boresome.”

When is the MAFS UK reunion?

Although no exact date has been given, E4 bosses have confirmed the new reunion will air ahead of the 2024 series of Married At First Sight Australia. Series eight cast member Thomas Kriaras also recently teased during an Instagram Live that it will be broadcast in ‘February/March’.

Who is at the MAFS reunion?

Filmed in the first week of November, cast members including Peggy, Georges, Rozz, Thomas, Tasha, Paul, Erica, Jordan, Ella, Jay, Laura, and Matt will all be in attendance as they head off to a fancy retreat to catch up.

Despite making an appearance on the first reunion episode, Luke Worley, a cast member, is reportedly no longer allowed to attend the most recent reunion because of a deteriorating relationship with Channel 4 executives since his dismissal from the show was shown.

“Luke’s relationship with Channel 4 has deteriorated since his axing was aired,” a source told Mail Online. He and Jordan not only had physical altercations, but he also threatened Jordan on social media, which the channel naturally finds inappropriate.

“Luke has spoken out about his experiences filming the show and no doubt will do so again… the trust between him and Channel 4 has been lost. He doesn’t feel great knowing that the majority of the cast are filming the special and his invite was well and truly retracted but they feel that right now his attitude is too difficult to manage.”

The 2023 season of Married At First Sight UK was undoubtedly the most dramatic in the program’s history, lasting an incredible eight weeks.

A number of latecomers agitated matters for the couples, in addition to the early drama for characters like Ella and Nathanial, Porscha and Terrence, Brad and Shona, and Luke and Jay who were later fired by the show’s executives.

With reality TV fans across the nation being hooked every Monday-Thursday, it’s no surprise the show broke its viewing figures for the 2023 series.
