The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member gave some real estate credit where it was due.
It’s understandable why Heather Dubrow has always been proud of her house. The famous “Dubrow Chateau,” which served as her former home, recently sold for a record-breaking $55 million. (The preceding video allows you to take a tour of the famous section of Bravo history.)
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member’s home, however, wasn’t only spectacular because of its high price; her family had entirely customized it. The “chateau” had a basement bar that could compete with any upscale lounge, as well as a magnificent closet loaded with Chanel clothing. The champagne wall of the “chateau” was also beautifully lighted.
After selling the Newport Beach manse, Heather and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, have acquired more jaw-dropping real estate, including an incredible penthouse in Los Angeles. Heather and Terry are also gut-renovating a “dream home” in Los Angeles.
We could continue (vacation home, anyone?) but let it just suffice to say that Heather has some rather impeccable real estate in her portfolio. However, she’s also quick to compliment someone else’s lovely home when she sees it.
Heather Dubrow reacts to Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards’ homes
Heather was asked which of her fellow Bravolebrities’ homes she admired in a recent interview with Bustle. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules both featured homes that the Orange County mother mentioned.
“I’ve been to [Lisa Vanderpump’s] house, and she has a really beautiful style, and her restaurants are always really pretty,” Heather stated. She continued, “[Kyle Richards’] houses always look beautiful.”
It’s hard to argue with Heather’s taste! After all, Lisa’s storied Beverly Hills home, Villa Rosa, is the stuff of legends. When describing the home, the restaurateur has said, “Villa Rosa is all about the views and the sparkle and the feel-good factor.”
The home also boasts a stunning backyard with a very fancy dining area, a beautifully renovated kitchen, multiple lavish sitting rooms, and a jaw-dropping closet — and it’s just one of Lisa’s multiple homes.
When dishing on her current Encino home, Kyle told Entertainment Tonight in 2017, “We went into this house and I went, ‘Oh my gosh.’ I was completely blown away, because it’s not like anything you would see in Los Angeles, normally. I just fell in love,” Fun fact: The 11,000-square-foot home had been previously owned by Smokey Robinson.
