Home and Away has confirmed that Cash Newman will develop a new obsession in an early 2025 storyline.
Recently, Cash learned who has received his late sister Felicity’s organs, which were donated.
In scenes set to air in the UK from next Monday (January 6), Cash returns from his trip to see his foster father Gary, with Michelle — the woman who received Felicity’s heart — in tow.
However, Michelle tells Eden that she only wants to stay for a few nights, as she’s keen to get back home and get back on with her life.
Unfortunately, Cash is pushing her to stay for a bit longer, and she’s left feeling unsure about how to be honest with him.
Eden tries to get Cash to read the room and give Michelle her space, but he just accuses her of interfering.
Later on in the week, and with a bit of help from Remi, Cash admits that the reason he really wants Michelle to stay is because she’s the only piece of Felicity that he has left.
Eventually, he tells Michelle that she should leave if she wants to, and she soon makes her goodbyes and departs.
With Michelle gone, Cash apologises to Eden for how he’s been acting lately. He says he’s going to return to work and is ready to get on with his life again.
However, when Eden drops a hint about whether he’d like to rekindle their relationship couple following their abrupt split after Felicity’s death, Cash declines. What does this mean for their future?
