However, the fact that the spinoff’s first season is wrapping up in October could mean that Starz plans to release Outlander’s final season somewhere along the same dates in 2025 and 2026 as season 7 aired in 2024 and 2025. We could be wrapping up Blood of My Blood season 1 in October 2025 and picking up Outlander season 8 in November 2025.
This would essentially make 2025 Outlander’s biggest year in history. We would be starting the calendar with Outlander season 7’s ending, wrapping up the summer with the first season of Outlander: Blood of My Blood, and finishing off 2025 with the start of Outlander season 8. So much of this fantasy universe in a single year is especially exciting considering all the waiting we have had to do in past seasons. Seasons 1 through 5 were released in consecutive years, but things got far more complicated after 2020. Multiple years would pass before we got more episodes, so now, 2025 could be our reward for all that patience.
