NCIS’ Jacqueline Obradors was behind drug cartel leader Paloma Reynosa but what has the star been in since?

NCIS has seen some major villains introduced throughout the past two decades but what else has actress Jacqueline Obradors starred in?

As the leader of the Reynosa Cartel in season seven, Paloma Reynosa (Jacqueline Obradors) created quite a stir in the CBS police drama. She was the daughter of drug dealer Pedro Hernandez (Thomas Rosales Jr.), whom Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) killed, making her presence even more perilous.

He killed Hernandez in retribution for killing Gibbs’ family, but Paloma doesn’t care when she makes a serious threat in the series seven finale. She not only tries to scare Gibbs into working for her, but she also enters his father’s (Ralph White) business in an effort to frighten the seasoned agent. It is because of her activities that she is one of the most recognizable villains in the history of the show.

What else has NCIS’ Paloma Reynosa star Jacqueline Obradors been in?

Actress Jacqueline Obradors, who has been quite busy since leaving her role on the show NCIS, played Paloma Reynosa.

Following her departure in 2010, she has had small appearances in series like The Glades, Franklin and Bash, Grimm, Castle, and Lucifer. Obradors did make a comeback to the franchise two years ago, this time as LAPD Captain Maya Lopez on NCIS Los Angeles. Her biggest part to date, though, came in 2019 when she was cast as the lead in the drama Bosch on Prime Video.

In the series, Vega switched from robbery to homicide while working with Rondell Pierce (DaJuan Johnson) and Lieutenant Grace Billets (Amy Aquino).

She may have been a latecomer to the drama but Obradors made such an impression she returned for the spin-off Bosch: Legacy last year.

Some of her other biggest parts in recent years have been in The Rookie, Daisy Jones and The Six and The Watchful Eye. Going by her IMDb profile though, it is unclear what Obradors has got lined up next. Despite Paloma proving a popular character, she sadly won’t be returning to NCIS.

Paloma’s tragedy was resolved when she appeared on the program when her brother Alejandro Rivera (Marco Sanchez) shot her inadvertently and killed her.

Furthermore, even if she were still alive, it seemed improbable that she would return given that Gibbs, whose tale was intertwined with her own, went to begin a new life in Alaska.

Most recently, the NCIS creative team discussed how Harmon got the job as Gibbs. Sydney, the most recent NCIS spin-off, will air on television soon.
