Lala Kent recently made a hint about going through some difficulty in her friendship with Ariana Madix during filming the upcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules. On her podcast, Lala, 33, acknowledged that she could have said something that upset Ariana, 38, but she assured that things are “good” at the moment. Later, on her Instagram page, she celebrated a significant turning point in her sobriety and received encouraging comments from her castmates.
“I’ve been sober for 5 years today. On this day I replay my rock bottom moment. All the details of what happened on this day. Waking up, admitting I was powerless, and for the first time in many years seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m so grateful for this day. I will continue to work hard for my sobriety, & take a moment of silence for the alcoholic who still suffers. I see you- I love you. Thank you, God. Happy birthday to me!” Lala proclaimed in an October 22 post, which featured her at Disneyland with her two-year-old daughter Ocean.
In the comments section of her post, Lala received messages from her Pump Rules co-stars and a Real Housewives of Orange County cast member.
“SO extremely proud of you! Ocean is very lucky to have a mama like you!” wrote Scheana Shay, 38.
“So proud of you,” said Tamra Judge, 56.
“The most proud of you in every way,” added Stassi Schroeder, 35.
Meanwhile, Ariana wrote, “Congratulations … This picture of you and little Ocean is so precious.” Brittany Cartwright, 34, shared, “I’m so proud of you Lala!! We love you!!!”
In other Pump Rules news, Lala opened up about her apparent drama with Ariana in an October 27 clip of Give Them Lala shared by Taste of Reality on Instagram.
“I believe our friendship is fantastic. After the season premieres, we’ll see how it makes us feel,” Lala said. As a cast, we’re always forthright and honest with one another, but occasionally, you witness things that make you say, ‘Wait a minute. Here, apply the breaks.
Lala claims that she appears to have a tendency to say things that she later regrets.
“I try to express things in a way that says, ‘I want you to know that I’m coming from a good place here,’ but for some reason, everything I say constantly falls flat. Thus, I’m not sure,” she said. “But we’re good right now.”
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to begin airing on Bravo later this year or early next year.
