NCIS has been a hit for CBS since it first aired in 2003 and now the iconic series has landed on Netflix.

NCIS, America’s third-longest running primetime series, is now available on Netflix.

Since its debut in 2003, NCIS has been a massive success on CBS, following Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team as they tackle high-profile crimes linked to the US Navy and Marine Corps.

Mark Harmon starred alongside a talented ensemble, including Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo, Pauley Perrette as Abby Sciuto, and David McCallum as Donald “Ducky” Mallard.
Later, fan favorites Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) joined the cast.

Despite significant cast changes, NCIS has remained a top-rated show, with some fans calling it the “world’s most watched show”.

On January 23, Netflix released the first five seasons of NCIS, giving new and old fans alike the opportunity to watch the series from the beginning on NCIS US.

While there is no official word on when the later seasons will be available, NCIS is still thriving after 22 years, with a new series in the works and several spin-offs.

One of which is the prequel NCIS Origins, which follows Gibbs’ career in the 1990s with Bridge Of Spies star Austin Stowell portraying a younger version of the silver-haired agent.

NCIS Sydney, the inaugural international spin-off of the franchise, is set to make a comeback on CBS for its second season on Friday, February 7.

In other news, NCIS Tony and Ziva, a Paramount+ series that delves into the lives of the ex-agents as they embark on their new journey in Paris, is slated for release later this year.

However, not all shows have had the same fortune as the CBS mothership drama.

NCIS New Orleans was axed after seven seasons, NCIS Los Angeles after 14, and NCIS Hawaii was discontinued after only three series.

NCIS seasons one to five are available to watch on Netflix US.
