The latest NCIS episode, In From the Cold, aired on Monday night much to the delight of viewers, but fans will now have to wait for a while for another installment
NCIS fans have been left distraught after realizing they now have to wait two weeks for a new episode.
Monday night’s episode, In From the Cold, saw the team tackle an unusual case as they worked with dementia patient and former US Navy Captain Thomas Butler, who was convinced the year was 1979. The team’s only hopes for cracking the case was to play into Thomas’ reality.
Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) disguised himself as Brian Banaszak, a CIA agent who Thomas knew and had been dead since 1980, while Katrina Law’s character Jessica Knight was also dressed in ’70s clothing. Fans loved the episode, but aren’t happy that they have to wait until November 25 for another.
Taking to X, one person fumed: “Oh so i have to be normal for two weeks? until i can see katrina kicking a– with her stunts again? i’m upset about that š #NCIS.”
Someone else wrote: “2 weeks until the next episode?! #ncis” alongside a video of Jessica saying: “It’s no gouda.” A third viewer posted: “Actually want to cry how are we supposed to cope.”
In From the Cold left fans on the edge of their seats during one particularly intense scene in which Thomas became scared and seemingly shot McGee. Luckily, the NCIS team was able to explain to Thomas what year it was and eventually solved the case with his help.
The true villain of the story was uncovered to be a CIA officer named Conrad who appeared on a list of CIA crimes. Conrad had tried to kill Thomas but murdered a hospital orderly instead.
Praising the episode, one person wrote on social media: “I LOVE when they dress up and do these little undercover missions #ncis.” Another viewer gushed over Jessica’s ’70s-inspired outfit: “How do you get over a specific look? asking for a friend (aka me because i’m never gonna be over this jess fit) #NCIS.”
