In honor of his 48th birthday on May 31, “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Eric Christian Olsen celebrated with his wife Sarah Wright and their three kids, son Wyatt, 11, daughters Esme Olivia, 8, and Winter Story, 4.
Sarah shared a joyful dance video from the celebration along with several heartfelt family snapshots featuring her, Eric, and their children.
“Forever and ever and ever holding your hand, watching you with our babies, going on adventures and dancing in any living room as long as it’s with you,” wrote Sarah, who is expecting their fourth child—a reveal they made in February. “Happy 48 to my dream guy.”
Eric also took to social media this morning to repost the video, adding: “I know Sarah already posted this video but my eyes immediately pooled with tears of gratitude when I saw it.

“The smiles, the energy, the tiny version of Wyatt running into my arms.
“Sometimes I forget in my tendencies for Ted talks and grand philosophical speeches that it’s not what we say, sometimes it’s not even about what we do, sometimes it’s just about the love and joy we actively show that gives them the map to find it for themselves. #lovewins”.
The sight of the couple reveling in a happy occasion was especially touching, particularly as it followed a tough January when they disclosed the loss of their home in the Pacific Palisades fire.
They described themselves as nomads and expressed being “perpetually blown away, eyes pooled, tears racing by the kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity of our friends, family and complete strangers.”
Eric, having put acting on pause upon wrapping up NCIS: LA, now serves as an executive producer for Matlock, which is among the top new drama series for the 2014-2025 TV season.
Fans can look forward to Matlock’s season two coming to CBS this autumn.
