Fans took to the NCISVerse’s official Instagram after snaps from Origins dropped, with fans berating the new instalment, calling for its axe before it even airs, reports the Express.
Among the freshly released images is leading man Austin, flanked by fellow cast members Mariel Molino, Kyle Schmid and Diany Rodriguez, but despite the promise of nostalgia in the new season, many fans are going to miss Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) and her squad.
One furious Instagram user declared, “Well, you’ve paged this angry ncis hawaii fan,” expressing their anger over the network’s decision-making and their preference for continual reboots over diversity.
Elsewhere, another chimed in with, “Please cancel NCIS Origins and bring back NCIS Hawaii. It’s what the fans want.
“And if you truly genuinely care about the fans, without which you guys wouldn’t have the money for any of this, then you really should listen to us and should have been listening to us for the last several months.”
“With all due respect We know all about Gibbs. Bring back Hawaii,” a third commented.
And a fourth predicted: “Don’t get too attached to this one either. It might be canceled too.”
