Fans of the hit drama were left in stitches after stumbling across a hilarious blooper from an earlier season of Outlander.
Outlander fans are getting hysterical during the wait for new episodes after unearthing a cheeky blooper from the show’s history.
Devotees of the hit Starz series are once again in the midst of ‘Droughtlander’, the lengthy hiatus between new instalments of Claire (played by Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser’s (Sam Heughan) epic adventures.
Back in season two, Jamie is startled in bed with his time-travelling wife when he discovers she no longer has any hair downstairs.
“Claire! What have you done to yourself?” he exclaims. “Your honey pot… it’s bare!”
“I’m aware of that,” Claire answers cheekily. “I was there when it happened.”
Outlander’s beloved lead stars clearly found it a challenge to keep it together during the saucy exchange as an uncovered blooper reveals Caitriona breaking character.
“What have I done to myself?” she asks through a fit of giggles, covering her face with her hand.
“You’ve shaved your punani,” her co-star Sam humorously retorts, to which Caitriona asks, “I know, but what’s the line?”
Fans waiting for the drama to return were tickled pink by this old blooper and were cracking up in the comments after seeing the Outlander stars breaking character during an intimate moment.
“The way he says it so nonchalant im crying,” one fan said when the clip was posted on Reddit.
“I was crying when I first saw it,” a second viewer replied. “To hear him say that was just hilarious.”
“Never heard that term before OL. I cracked up,” a third commented.
“His reaction, demeanor and everything on his face was just perfect!! And that is why I love this man!! Always!!”
Another replied: “OMG every time that I watch this scene i still laugh I wonder how many times they had to do [it] because they were laughing!”
And a final viewer said: “Surprised that Cait isn’t p***ing herself laughing.”
While Claire and Jamie are one of the most beloved on-screen couples in recent memory, with their fair share of steamy scenes, the actors also had their fair share of embarrassing or funny moments on set.
There will undoubtedly be plenty more gaffes happening on the set of season eight, which is currently in production in Scotland.
Plus, the cast has already wrapped up the final episodes of season seven, which will finally be released to viewers this November.
Outlander season 7, part 2 premieres Sunday, November 22 on Starz.
