Outlander actor Sam Heughan was spotted at at a top Edinburgh restaurant, as he made his way around the capital on Sunday and posed for a picture with chef Tom Kitchin.
An Edinburgh restaurant welcomed Outlander actor Sam Heughan, as he made his way round the capital.
The star visited The Scran and Scallie, The Kitchin and BABA. Posting to his Instagram story, he said: “Delicious! Thank you Tom Kitchin.”
This comes just days after Sam was in Edinburgh having a special lunch to mark the end of the beloved Outlander series.
The Scottish actor shared a snap to his Instagram story as they gathered around a table at The Supper Club – a private dining concept where guests enjoy an intimate supper with TV chef Tony Singh in Edinburgh.
Taking to Instagram, Sam said: “Dream Team” lunch hosted by the brilliant @mctsingh.
“Thankful for such a wonderful team, who have supported and worked so hard over the years on @outlander_starz.”
He joked: “Less thankful for the hangover.”
This comes as Outlander wraps up with the eighth season, with fans predicting how the series will end.
Sam disclosed that the series was “supposed to finish this season”, but he “didn’t want to finish without finishing the story”, leading to the Outlander cast “going back to do one more [season]”, reports the Express.
He said: “I want to finish the story, not only for myself but for the fans. It wouldn’t feel satisfactory to just end it, left in the air. Diana is still writing the 10th book and there is plenty more that we haven’t been able to cover.
“We will have to end it some way. Perhaps not a way that the books end it. I am pushing for a different ending.
“I don’t think I am going to get what I want. While the finale is never going to be satisfactory for everyone, hopefully fans will get given some sort of finality.”
