Adapted from Robert Littell’s bestselling novel, the film features Malek as CIA cryptographer Charlie Heller, whose life is turned upside down after his wife Sarah (played by Rachel Brosnahan) falls victim to a terrorist attack, reports the Daily Record.
Driven by vengeance, Charlie embarks on a perilous mission to find and eliminate those responsible, despite his lack of experience with firearms.
While Balfe’s precise character details are shrouded in secrecy, her transformation for this contemporary thriller, including mastering a Russian accent, has garnered high praise from her fanbase.
