Sylvester Stallone Teases “Devious” Season 3 Of Taylor Sheridan’S ‘Tulsa King’

We might not have a release date yet, but Tulsa King Season 3 is officially underway — and Sylvester Stallone is already stirring the pot. The action legend took to Instagram to tease what’s coming next for his fish-out-of-water mobster Dwight “The General” Manfredi, and according to Stallone, the plan for the new season is nothing short of devious. That’s right — Dwight’s return to Tulsa isn’t going to be smooth sailing. But did anyone really expect it would be?

“This is my friend, Frank Grillo,” Stallone says in a new behind-the-scenes video, as filming for Season 3 continues. “We’re about to do something a little devious in the name of commerce. It’s not like we’re thieves, right? We’re actually trying to retrieve what belongs to us. I have a feeling it’s going to go sideways.” Grillo — who joined the series in Season 2 as dangerous businessman Bill Bevilaqua — added, “I think everything goes sideways eventually.” Stallone’s response? “So the plan shouldn’t go in a circle, it should go sideways.”

What Can We Expect From ‘Tulsa King’ Season 3?

The ending of Season 2 left Dwight in a perilous position. After Bevilaqua killed Chickie (Domenick Lombardozzi) and asserted himself as a new threat — or possibly a shaky ally — Dwight was kidnapped by a group of unknown men, leaving fans with plenty of questions about his fate. Based on this new teaser from Stallone, it looks like Dwight and Bevilaqua will be spending a lot more time together in Season 3 — though it’s anyone’s guess whether this “partnership” will survive the criminal chaos ahead.
