The eagerly awaited 10-part prequel drama Blood of My Blood is set to premiere on August 8 on Starz and will be available the following day, August 9, on MGM+ via Prime Video.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood will delve into the romantic pasts of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire’s parents, with one story unfolding during World War I and another in the Scottish Highlands in the 17th century.
Devotees of Outlander are keen for the series to shed light on some unresolved mysteries, including the true circumstances surrounding Julia and Henry’s deaths and whether there could be a connection to the season seven cliffhanger involving Faith.
There is only one season of Outlander left which is thought (but not confirmed) to air late 2025 or early next year.
