On Days of Our Lives, the solution we’ve been seeking for is almost here. Brady and Alex went to Greece to find out why Victor destroyed his will, only to find out in Monday’s episode that it was related to the letters Kayla obtained while being held captive by Bo.
We know nothing about them other than they are missives he wrote to Caroline and that they were all returned to him in Greece. Victor revealed his affections for her despite her best efforts to ignore him as she went about her life as a Brady in Salem.
The cousins make their way over to Victor’s Greek home to figure out just what it is that Victor dug up. “Whatever the letter is that they’re looking for will explain everything and break it all down,” Robert Scott Wilson previewed to Soap Opera Digest in their recent issue.
But it’s not as easy as all that. The letter box that Kayla originally found is, as we know by the end of the episode, empty. The letters are all in Theresa’s hands after she pries open the briefc ase Victor had with him when he died.
“They’re very suspicious for sure,” Wilson shared. “There’s been so much secrecy since Victor passed. It’s kind of haunting. There are just a lot of question marks.”
That could be the century’s biggest understatement. We have a lot of questions for you. Is it true that Caroline’s letters were entirely unreturned, or are some to and from others included? If they are entirely Caroline’s, what might be in them to drive Victor to destroy his will?
He’d have known what they were by now, so there wouldn’t have been any significant revelations that would have changed things. But it has to be related to his children. Brady and Alex connect Victor’s visit to Bo and his letters to his mother, but it could just be Victor’s thinking… This prompted a recollection, which changed everything.
But what could possible be in them to cause this? Is Bo not his biological son? Is Victor married to Caroline’s other children? Does he mention other lovers in the letters, causing Victor to believe he has other children?
As Wilson said to Digest, “there’s so much on the line right now.” The entire [Kiriakis] estate is at stake here.”
And whatever this letter contains, it could change everything not just for the estate, but the entire family.
