Sean Murray is most recognized for his role as Special Agent Timothy McGee on CBS’ “NCIS.” He first debuted in “Hocus Pocus,” a 1993 Halloween classic. Since their 2005 wedding, Sean Murray and Carrie James have been parents to two kids: son River and daughter Caitlyn. James used to teach, but once their kid was born, he switched to being an entrepreneur, according to People. She established the Business Relationship Alliance (BRA) in 2015 after realizing how many women had difficulty expanding their businesses through networking. The company is described as “a network of powerful women dedicated to advancing female-owned businesses by providing the community, collaboration, mentorship, empowerment, and support needed to flourish as an entrepreneur” on the official website of BRA.
While James has been busy growing BRA since 2015, she had previous experience founding organizations, as she founded Prestique Academy of Innovation and Technology, a school for students with exceptional needs, in 2011. In doing so, she also became the first person in her family to open up a business, as Voyage LA noted. The reason she decided to get into entrepreneurship was because she wanted to help other women succeed.
“I naturally connect people. I can listen to someone describe their struggles and, with ease and genuine excitement, link them with the appropriate people, she told Voyage LA. “I adore seeing other women achieve success and encourage one another.” James not only supports other women, but she also receives encouragement from Murray, who constantly extols her on Instagram.
Sean Murray thinks Carrie James is ‘incredible’
Sean Murray may be too busy fighting crime on television, but he always makes time to express his appreciation to his wife of 16 years on social media. In May 2020, Murray posted a Mother’s Day tribute to James, posting a photo of him and her sight-seeing in an undisclosed location on Instagram, with the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day to my incredible wife and all the moms out there!”
Besides showing his love for her publicly, Murray is also grateful for James’ input on their home renovations throughout the years. In March 2021, Murray exclusively showed off his home to People, which he spent 10 years renovating with James and views it as a forever home. “There is definitely something about putting roots down, because I didn’t have that as a kid, in a lot of ways. We moved every two, three years,” Murray said, referencing nomadic life as a child. “So there is a part of me that’s like, ‘You got your place, your space, your house with your family. Make it yours.’” Judging by how well the couple’s personal and professional lives are going, it seems like they have found the secret to a successful and long-lasting marriage.
