Days of Our Lives news and spoilers indicate Elia Cantu’s portrayal of Jada Hunter rips into Brandon Beemer’s portrayal of Shawn Brady and reveals the latter’s secret, possibly in front of Belle Brady (Martha Madison). Even though Jada made a vow to her sister that she wouldn’t reveal what transpired between her and Shawn, it’s easy to conclude that this entire incident occurred at the Salem Police Department.
Shawn and Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) had grief sex after getting drunk at Brady’s Pub, no one who knew them on bar duty, and had gone upstairs. Even though Talia and Shawn agreed to keep their regretful tryst a secret, Jada took her sister to task first, after quickly deducing the true situation.
As a result, Shawn had after much resistance agreed to start going to AA meetings and work on his problems, the first meeting to be accompanied by Belle.
Even if the effects of the Kiriakis family secret following Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) funeral hurt Shawn, things now seem to be calming down just a tiny bit.
Talia has been attempting to forget about the incident in the interim, but an issue arises that she can’t ignore. Despite their best efforts to stay apart, Talia and Shawn’s paths inevitably cross, and today is one of those occasions.
Like the situation Jada once found herself in when she was dating Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Talia finds herself pregnant! She would really her sister didn’t get involved, but she knows Jada is protective and probably will – and Shawn would do anything for Belle not to find out he’d cheated.
Talia decides she has to reveal her condition, and has a pregnancy test at the hospital as well – just to be sure, since home tests sometimes fail. She makes the mistake of looking for Shawn at the SPD, thinking Jada’s not yet back from an overseas job with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) but they’re back.
In the meantime, Belle is also there, getting ready to meet with a client who’s gotten in a spot of trouble. She’s nowhere near where Talia comes looking for Shawn, and as she tells him about the baby, Shawn really gets worried – there was a situation back a few years ago.
Since explaining to Talia that the devil was impersonating Belle would be a little challenging, he decides not to let her know that it turned out to not be his kid after all. It was horrible enough that the incident almost permanently ended their relationship, and Belle later cheated on him. Jada suddenly appears, having overheard the entire exchange.
Jada finds it difficult to remain silent and asks her sister to go since this is a private matter between her and Shawn. Despite her best intentions, she rips into Shawn because she doesn’t believe her sister can handle the situation emotionally and recalls her own experience.
When Jada shouts at Shawn that this wouldn’t be happening if he hadn’t gotten wasted and put Talia to bed, Belle shows up and demands an explanation. Because this puts Jada in the middle of Shawn and Belle, who stood up for her while she was in trouble, Talia will undoubtedly demand one of Jada as well.
