Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for September 27 indicate that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who has been challenged by Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) over Victoria Horton’s paternity, will need to give an explanation for her actions.
After Sarah and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) got married, Xander barged into the pub and convinced Sarah that Victoria is actually his, not Rex’s, as Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) had overheard.
Now Xander’s outside with Sarah demanding answers, though he already has a pretty good idea of why she deceived him. Xander assumes Sarah would’ve rather let Victoria grow up believing a lie than have someone like him be her dad. Even so, Xander will feel betrayed and continue to wonder how Sarah could do this to him. Sarah should’ve learned her lesson by now when it comes to paternity lies and how they always blow up sooner or later!
Although Sarah will act like she was protecting Victoria, Xander may ask if she really thinks he’d do anything to harm their daughter. Perhaps Xander will suspect this is more about Sarah running from her feelings from him in the end. Other Days spoilers say Chloe will explain her actions to Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) now that he’s shown up at her door.
Given the circumstances, Philip is unlikely to hold Chloe accountable for telling Xander what she really thought, and may instead just wish to check on her. Sadly, Chloe is devastated now that she has given Xander back to Sarah, but at least she will have Philip to lean on when she needs someone to listen. On Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Philip will likely be questioned by Chloe about his sentiments, leading him to possibly acknowledge that he still loves her and may always do so.
That could lay the groundwork for Philip and Chloe’s joint exit since they’re set to leave for New York City down the road. A romantic reunion could be on the horizon for Chloe and Philip depending on how all this plays out. In London, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will follow the trail, so that’ll help them locate Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton).
However, Days spoilers say Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) actions will catch Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) off guard, so he might find some way to warn Ava or complicate the investigation despite supplying info to Rafe.
It’d be risky since Tripp’s already been on the hot seat, but Ava’s life could be at stake if she gets dragged back to Salem too quickly. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) remains a threat, so Tripp will no doubt keep that in mind. Of course, it’s possible Tripp will have a more romantic surprise in store for Wendy instead – or maybe he could arrange a new job for her since EJ recently fired her.
In any case, Tripp will be preoccupied with surprising Wendy as Ava and Harris look for Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). Since Edmund Crumb (Adam Caine), Susan’s former flame who was last seen in 1998, will eventually meet with Jada and Rafe, Harris and Ava might be able to give them the benefit of the doubt. Keep an eye out for news on the hints Edmund may provide along since he may have some interesting information about Susan’s whereabouts.
