It’s time for Torres to get an episode where he takes the lead in the case. It looks like that’s happening in NCIS season 22, episode 7.

December is getting off to a great start for CBS. Following the Tracker season 2 fall finale and a new episode of The Equalizer last night, we run straight into new episodes of the NCIS shows tonight, Monday, Dec. 2. You will not want to miss out.

NCIS season 22, episode 7 is a Torres-focused episode. He’s not had much of a chance to shine since the premiere, although he did great playing the big brother role for Knight during the previous episode. Those two are like siblings and it’s adorable.

Torres has an informant in NCIS season 22, episode 7

The episode will see the team head to the door of someone tied to a case. Only Torres is already at the house. Why? Of course, the initial thought is that Torres has a romantic connection to the woman in the house. When Torres explains that she’s a confidential informant, opinions change.

We know Torres well enough, and he’s nothing like the Torres on Chicago PD. Nick Torres is not going to end up sleeping with the CI and getting himself and her into a world of trouble and danger. That doesn’t mean there won’t be some teasing along the way.

It’s the content of the intel that is important for the episode. The intel regards top secret information that is at the risk of being sold. Has someone hacked the information? This sounds like it could be a mole on the inside.

It makes sense now for Torres to be the main part of this investigation. With his experience undercover, he understands the world of espionage a little better than the rest of them. He’s comfortable going undercover and constantly lying to people to get what he needs.

“Torres receives intel from a confidential informant regarding top secret naval information that’s at risk of being sold.”

NCIS airs Mondays at 9/8c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
